    Mailbox Security Code Delete
    Description
    The System Administrator can delete the security code for any Subscriber Mailbox. This effectively unlocks 
    the mailbox. If mailbox security is not necessary, deleting a mailbox’s security code speeds up mailbox logon. 
    Without a security code, the subscriber just presses their 
    V-MAIL key to immediately log onto their mailbox.

    Main Menu
    Description
    After a Subscriber Mailbox user logs into their mailbox, IntraMail provides them with the Main Menu of 
    options. The Main Menu provides quick access to the most commonly used mailbox features in a centr\
    al 
    location. It includes listening and recording options, as well as additi\
    onal selections for recording mailbox 
    names and greetings. The chart below summarizes these options.

    Make Call
    Description
    Make Call lets a Subscriber Mailbox user listen to a voice message and dial MC to return the call without 
    knowing their caller’s phone number. Make Call automates returning messages since you don’t have to dial 
    the message sender’s telephone number. Make Call is always available for messages received from co-work-
    ers. Make call is available for messages received from outside callers if the system has Caller ID enabled 
    (and provided by the connected telco).
    While listening to a message at a Super Display Telephone,  first 2 lines of the display show the callers num-
    ber (or extension) in addition to the date and time the message was left. At a 22-Button or 34-Button Tele-
    phone, the  first line of the display shows the date and time the message was left.

    • Available if Caller ID is enabled and provided by the telco.
    Programming
    1.No additional programming is required to enable Caller ID in IntraMail.
    1.Be sure the telco provides Caller ID to the connected telephone system.
    1.In  3121-01: Caller ID Type  (page 825) enter the type of Caller ID required (DSP = 1, ATRU  = 2, T1/E1 
    ANI = 
    3).
    - For ANI Caller ID, in  3121-02: ANI/DNIS Format  (page 825) and 3121-04: Number of ANI Digits  
    (page 826), set for compatibility with the connected service.
    2.In  1611-06: Caller ID Detection Timer  (page 684), set for compatibility with the connected service.
    3.In 3131-01: Pass Caller ID to Voice Mail  (page 828),enter Ye s.
    1.In 3711-01: Caller ID Callback Route Type  (page 856), select the type of route used for Caller ID call-
    backs (
    1 = line, 2 = Line Group).
    2.For line, in  3711-01: Caller ID Callback Line  (page 856) enter the line number (1-64) the system will 
    use for Caller ID callbacks.
    3.For Line Groups, in  3711-01: Caller ID Callback Group  (page 857) enter the Line Group number (90-
    98
    ) the system will use for Caller ID callbacks.
    4.Turn to  Caller ID Logging  (page 68) for more.
    A Subscriber Mailbox user can dial MC to return a call without knowing their caller’s number.
    1.No IntraMail speci fic programming required.
    2.Check your telco service.
    3.Check your telephone system programming to be sure it is set up to receive Caller ID and pass 
    it to the IntraMail voice mail ports.

    and  the telephone system passes the Caller ID data to the IntraMail voice mail ports.

    Message Reply can not automatically reply to a message left by an outsid\
    e caller. Use Make Call 
    instead.
    Operation
    5.To enable Make Call for remote logons (i.e., subscriber’s logging onto their mailbox through the 
    Automated Attendant):

    Message Count Display
    Description
    The telephone display provides interactive status updates for the subscriber’s mailbox. The subscriber 
    doesn’t have to call their mailbox and wait for the voice prompts to find out the number of new and saved 
    messages in their mailbox. Then can just look at the display instead.  While idle
    , the telephone display shows 
    the number of new messages waiting in a subscriber’s mailbox. The message count automatically updates as 
    the subscriber receives new messages and processes older messages.  While lo
    gged into the mailbox, the tele-
    phone display shows the number of both new and saved messages.

    Message Delete
    Description
    A Subscriber Mailbox user can delete any messages left in their mailbox. Message Delete lets the subscriber 
    do their own mailbox maintenance. They can delete messages they no longer need and save messages that 
    contain essential information. With Message Delete, the subscriber doesn’t have to rely on the System 
    Administrator to perform these routine mailbox maintenance functions.
