Eac h alias must b e used in name-ad d ressing mod e. For g reater c onvenienc e, users who use the p ersonal d irec tory often should have their d efault ad dressing mod e set (b y the system ad ministrator) to name-ad d ressing instead of exten- sion-ad d ressing . When users refer to other users either b y name or alias, the DEFINITY AUDIX system first searc hes the send er’s p ersonal d irec tory, then searc hes the system d irec - tory.
