    Your intercom signals according to the intercom position.

    When attempting to locate a party, press a station button to signal the
    desired statio n.
    If t he p ar ty is not l ocat ed:
    1. Pres s a nother statio n button to continue the sea rch.
    2. When the called party answers, hang up to complete the transfer.

    2. When called party answers, consult with them or hang up to transfer
    the call.
    If you are on a conne cted ca ll, hear one b urs t of muted ringing, and your
    CAMP-ON button is flashing, you have a call waiting.
    1. Pres s the CAMP-ON b utton. Any outs id e line y ou are con nected to is
    placed on hold. You may converse with the station placing the call.

    CO Line Access
    Acces sing an Outside Line

    2. Dial desired numb er for outside call.

    CO Line Queuing
    A station can q ueue only one line a t a tim e. If you s ee that a particular
    outside line is busy and you wish to be placed on a list waiting for that
    li ne to be co me avai l abl e:

    Pres s POOL button . (Bus y tone is he ard. )
    2. Pres s p re -programme d LINE QUEUE button (621).

    A LOOP button or direct appearance of the queued line is required.
    Conference Combinations
    Only stations that have conference enabled can institute a conference.

    Establishing a Conference
    1. Lift hands et.
    2 . Se le c t int e rc om s ta ti on or d ial de si re d ou ts ide pa r ty.
    3. When called party answers, press the CONF button.
    4. Add next conference party by selecting another outside line or
    intercom station.
    5. Ifthenextconferencepartyisanoutsidelineandabusyorwrong
    nu mber is encountered, press one of the confe re nce partie s on hold.
    T his drops th e b usy or w rong number party. Press the conf erence
    b utt on a gai n and r epe at st ep 4 .
    6 . Whe n pa rt y answe r s, p re ss the CO NF bu t to n twi c e. (A ll pa r ti es ar e
    connected.)
    A maximumof eight parties can be included in a conference.

    Exiting a Conference (Controller only)
    There are three methods of exiting a conference:
    1 -- Pre ss the O N/OF F b utt on to ON, pr es s MUT E, the n r ep la ce t he
    hands et (to m onitor a con ference ).
    To exit a multi-line conference in progress:
    2 -- P re ss the HO LD bu t to n t o pl ac e o u t sid e p ar ti es o n h o ld. Th e H o ld
    Timer starts. If one of the two parties is internal, that party is dropped.
    3 -- Press CONF and hang u p or press the ON/OFF button to leave the
    oth er confe re nce partie s s till conne cte d in a n uns upervise d conf erence .
    The CONF button flashes and the timer starts. There is a warning tone
    be fore t he oth er par t ie s a re dr opp ed.
    Re- ent eri ng a C onfere nc e

    1. Lift hands et to re- enter a monitored conferen ce .
    2. To re -e nte r a confe re nce place d on hold, rep eat step s for e stablis hing

    3. To re-enter an unsupervised conference, lift handset and press
    flashing CONF button. The CONF button lights steady and a
    conf irmation ton e is hea rd.

    To terminate a conference, the conference initiator who is actively in the
    conference must:

    Dial By Name
    The system lets station users dial extension numbers by entering the
    name of a p er son p rog ram med for t hat st at ion . T he syst e m da tab ase
    allows en try of a name (alpha numeric) up to 24 characters for ea ch
    st at ion. Th is pr ogra mme d nam e c a n be us ed for di ali ng- by-na me st at ion
    use rs and di spl ays on L CD dis pl ays.

    †Allows users to program a name with a speed dial bin for later
    loca ting a sp ee d dial numb er. Whe n prompted, th e s ystem displays
    the na me ass oc iat e d wi th a s pe ed dia l numbe r on t he LC D d isp lay.
    The use r may the n ha ve the s ystem dia l the numb er.
    †Ena ble s user s to ass ociat e a n ame wi th an e nt ry in t he l ocal num ber /

    Conditions
    †If the desired party is an intercom station, that station is signaled
    accord ing to it’s H- P-T switch (SLT stations tone ring).

    se le c ts a CO li ne and dia ls t he numbe r prog ramm ed int o t he spe ed
    dial bin. C all p rogres s tone s are th en heard.

    in, the station must exit Directory Dialing mode to answer the call.
    Trans ferring a C all Us ing Directory Dialing ( while on a call)
    1. Pres s the TRANS button.

    Reaching an Internal Station:
    Dial the desired station number. (Ringback tone is heard.)
    Do No t Disturb (D ND)
    DND blocks incoming paging and ringing, and provides visual status to
    oth er t el eph ones wit h DSS ap pea ra nc e. The DN D c ode i s [ 63 1] .
    Act iv ati n g Do Not D is turb
    Press the p re-programmed D ND b utton ( DND button lights stead y), or
    dial [631] on the 8-bu tton keyset. The DND button can be pressed while
    the p hone is ringing to s top the ringing.
    Remov ing Do Not D istu rb
    Press the pre-programmed DND button or dial [631]. The button LED
    ext i nguis hes and DN D c anc e ls .
    Th e con fere nce time r moni tors a DI SAtr u nk- to -tr u nkcall a nd
    releasethelinesone(1) minuteafterthetimeexpires.
    If the stat ion d iale d is una tten ded , busy or i n DN D, in terc om dial
    tone retu rns, (after t he Pr eset C all F orw ard Time r ex pire s).
    W ARN ING : To ll fraud c an oc cur if DI SA is not pr ope rly

    							Executive Override 6-45
    Conditions
    †Calling stations receive a DND audible tone.
    †The fi rs t pr ogra mmed at te ndant d oes not have D ND ca pabi l it y.
    †DND capability is programmable on a per-station basis.
    On e- Tim e D o Not D i st ur b
    Prevents calls from ringing at your station while you are on a call. The
    One-Time DND condition automatically cancels when you end your call.
    Pre ss t he pre-progr ammed DND but ton whil e you are off-hook and connected
    to a CO line or intercom call. The DND button LED lights and off-h ook tones at
    your st at ion cance l.
    Cancelling One-Time Do Not Disturb

    Executive Override
    The Exe c uti ve Ove r ri de f eat ur e e nabl es E xec ut i ve d esi gnat e d st at ions the
    ability to override and barge-in on other keysets engaged in
    conve rs ation. The programming cod e is [625].

    - If the called party is in a conference.
