Allows you to prevent calls from ringing at your station while youre on a

or intercom ca ll. The DND button LE D lights and off- hook tones a t your

Exclusive Hold
When a line is placed on Exclusive Hold, no other station in the system
canretrievethiscall.ExclusiveHoldmaybeprogrammedtobeactivated
on the first or s econd depress ion of the Hold button. C O Lines while in a

Executive Override
Allows designated Executive stations the ability to override and barge-in
on other k eys ets engag ed in conversa tion. If you ca ll a busy station:

station are b ridge d onto the CO line conversation in progress at the
called station. Optional warning tone is heard and presented to all
parties prior to cut-thru.

Conditions
†An error tone occurs when the called party is in a conference, is
already on an OHVO call, or has a Camp-On at their station.
†If the Executive joins a call and one of the members does a hook-flash
or dep re sse s the ir t ra nsfe r but ton, t he Execut i ve is dr oppe d.
†If the Executive press es the hook- flash or tra nsfer b utton, it is ignored.
†When the Executive jumps in on an intercom call or CO call and the
Execu tive is not in a mute cond ition, and any mem ber of the p arty
hangs up, the call is conve rte d to a two- party conve rs ation.
†When the Executive jumps in on an intercom call or CO call and the
Exe cu tive is in the mute condition and e ithe r of the two parties in the
intercom ca ll han g up, the call is droppe d. If the E xecutive ha ngs up,
the call remains as a two-party conversation.
Use of this fea ture when the Ex ecu tive Ove rride warn ing to ne i s
disabl ed may be i nte rpre ted a s a v iol ation of fe de ral, state or lo cal
laws , and an i nv asi on of priv acy . Che ck a ppli cabl e law s in y our are a

Executive/Secretary Transfer

When connected to an outside line, press the FLASH button to
disconnectoutsidelineandre-seizeoutsidelinedialtone.

Flexible Button Assignment
If al l the but t ons on your t el eph one h ave NO T bee n as si gned as CO l ine s,
Pooled group, or LOOP buttons , you m ay program them to suit y our ow n
individual needs. The Flexible Button Assignment feature also allows
flexible button programming from a remote location (off-site). Range
programming can also be used to assign these buttons to multiple
st at ions .
Exe cutive and Enh anced Model T elep hones hav e 22 flex ible buttons .

activates a particular feature, thus eliminating the need for dialing the
fea tur e code .

lines that do not app ear on th e us ers individual tele phone . Any p hone
tha t does nt hav e a ll line s appe ar on it mus t have a loop button. T here is
NO limit to the num ber of LOOP b uttons a s ta tion ma y ha ve.
4) POOLED GROUP ACCESS -- A group of outside lines can be placed
unde r one b utton. Whe n this button is p re sse d, the s ystem se le cts an
availablelinefromthisgroupfortheusertoplaceacallon.
5) SPEE D D IAL - - T his but ton can be pr ogr amme d t o aut omat i ca ll y a cce ss
a speed number location for one-step operation. PBX and Centrex codes
can be programmed into a speed dial bin and accessed by one button
dep re ssi on.
6) UNASS IGN (Locke d Out) - - S pecific buttons ma y b e d esigna te d as
unuse d or locked out. W hen a b utton is prog ram med as unuse d, the
but ton may not be pr ogr amme d by t he sta ti on u ser us ing fl ex butt on
pr ogra mmi ng pr oced ure s.

Programming a Flexible Button
1. Press the SPEED button twice.

Forward Override
The Forward Override feature allows a user to reach a busy station who is
