    							5-52 I nco ming CO Cal l Trans fer
    Incoming CO Call Trans fer
    The Incoming CO Call Transfer feature provides station users the ability to
    trans fer a call tha t is curre ntly ringing at their station without a nswe ring
    it . Thi s f eat ur e o nly oper at e s whe n t he st at ion is i n an id le mode an d not
    available to Single Line Telephone users.
    While on an internal/external call and an incoming or transferred CO call
    is ringing at your statio n:
    1. Place the current call on hold.
    2 . Pr es s t he pr e- pro gram med IN C CO X SFR fle xi ble bu tt on,
    -or -
    Dial th e Incoming CO ca ll tran sfer cod e [ 639] on the dial pad.
    3. Press a DSS, Gro up button or dial the three-digit station number or
    group number. Call is automatically transferred to that destination.
    The incoming transferred CO call receives Music-On-Hold during the
    transfer state. (Station user can return to call placed on hold.)
    Conditions
    †Cal ls may be for wa rde d t o a ny ava il abl e st at ion, AC D/UCD gr oup,
    Hunt Gr oup or VM Group.
    †De st ina ti on s tat i on mus t have an dir ect a ppe ar ance for th at CO Li ne
    or Loop b utton a nd not in D ND or an error ton e is presented to the
    originator and the call remains ringing at their station.
    †Attendant stations do not send ID digits.
    Intercom Button(s)
    The I nt er c om But ton fea tur e pr ovi des st at i on use rs t he func t ion of
    ringing a busy station via the intercom without using the Camp-On or
    ExecutiveOverridefeatures.Thisalsoallowsstationstoplaceintercom
    calls on hold.

    Receiving an Inter com Call when Station is Busy(an d has
    in tercom bu tton)
    The c al li ng st at ion re c ei ves r ing bac k tone i nst ea d of a b usy t one . T he
    calle d station he ars ringing and the ir inte rcom button LED starts flas hing
    at the incoming CO line rate. This indicates an incoming intercom call.
    The called station can press the HOLD button to:
    1. Place the current CO call on hold,
    -or -
    Place the current intercom call on hold. The intercom call is placed on
    hold on t he ava il abl e int er c om b utt on.
    2. Pres s the flash ing IN TERCOM button to ans wer the incom ing
    intercom call, the following message displays on called station’sLCD:
    Sta XXX could also be a programmed station name.
    By defau lt, no INTERCOM buttons are assigned to any key stations.
    Conditions
    †If calls are ringing on IN TERCOM bu ttons and a Ha ndsfree call is
    re ceived, the H ands fre e call is allowed and the ca lls ringing continue
    with m ute d rin ging.

    stop.

    1. Lift the handset or press the MUTE button to answer,

    Move the inte rcom signal sw itch to the H mode to reply.

    In the P Mod e, you hea r three b urs ts of tone and one-way
    announce me nt. The calling party cannot h ear conv ersations in p rogres s.
    Lift the handset or press the MUTE button to answer,
    -or -
    Move the inte rcom signal sw itch to the H mode to reply.
    In the H Mod e, y ou he ar th re e b urs ts of tone a nd an announ ce me nt.

    For Intercom Transfer Without DSS Buttons:

    4. When the 2nd station answers, you are in a supervised transfer mode
    (1st station is staged for transfer).
    5. Hang up ( station 1 a nd 2 a re conne cte d).
    For Intercom Transfer Using DSS Buttons:
    1. ReceiveormakeanintercomcallusingaDSSbutton.
    2. Pres s the TRANS button. Intercom dial tone is hea rd.
    3. Press the DSS button where call is to be transferred.
    4. Hang up ( station 1 a nd 2 a re conne cte d).

    Last Number Redial (L NR)
    1. Pres s the SPE ED button.
    2. Pres s the pound [# ] ke y. The la st numbe r d iale d over an outs ide line is
    automatically redialed. The system automatically selects the original
    line used to place the call and redial the number.
    †If that line is busy, the system automatically selects another line
    fromthesamegroupandredialthenumber.
    †If no lines are available in the same group, the station receives a
    busy tone and can queue for a line.
    †If t he st ati on u ser p re sel ec ts a li ne bef ore ac t i vat ing LNR , the
    preselection overrides the line which was used originally.
    Least Cost Routing (LCR)

    When telephone is signaled, answer the call. The desired telephone

    Cancelling an LCR Queue Call Back Request
    1. Dial the LCR Queue Cancel code, [626] on the dial pad.
    2 . Repl ace hand se t or p re ss ON /O FF but ton .
    Only one LCRQueue CallBack requestmaybe initiated bya station.When
    a second request is made,the first request is canceled.

    The Mailbox Button featu re provides station users to program specific
    mailb ox index numbe rs onto f le xible butto n at their station or DS S
    Console. Users can then transfer internal/external callers to specific Voice
    Mail Groups or Mailbox numbers. These Voice Mail Groups or Mailbox
    numbe rs ar e pr ogr amme d in admi n pr ogra mmi ng. A total of 255 mai lb ox
    but tons ar e al lowe d p er sy st em.

    1. Press the SPEED button twice.

    during entry, an error tone is presented.

    The called station presses the MAILBOX flexible button and goes
    on-hook . T he ca ll is the n tra nsfe rre d to the VM port by the telep hone

    Conditions
    †This f eature ca n be programmed on any key station or DSS Cons ole
    with an available flexible button.
    †Stations engaged in a conference cannot use this feature.
    †If no s ta tion(s) are prog ram med in the Voice Mail Group, the use r
    re c ei ves an er ror t one.
    †Mailbox buttons interac t with the station VMID feature as follows:

    4. Replace the handset or press the ON/OFF button to end the call.

    Answering a Message Waiting Indication
    If your MSG button is flash ing at a slow rate , you ha ve a me ss age waiting

    1. Press flashing MSG button. Station that left message is signaled with
    to ne r in ging.
    2. If called station does not answer, press MSG once to leave message.
    Mu t e K ey
    The MUT E b utton p rovide s p rivacy during spe ake rp hone or hands et
    operation by disabling the microphone.
    1. Pres s MUT E while off- hook on spe ake rp hone or hands et to ac tivate.
    2. Press the MUTE button again to deactivate. The mute featu re
    a utom atically deactivates up on call term ina tion.

    							Night Se rvice 5-61
    Ni g h t S er v i ce
    The Night Service feature provides a means to put the system in night
    mode from a ny keyset or remove the sys tem from nigh t m ode from any
    key set a s long as the sy stem was put in night mode by th e N ight S ervice
    fea ture flex button. If the syste m wa s place d in night mod e b y the
    Attend ant using h er Night Se rv ice (D ND) button or if the s ystem was
    pl ac ed in nig ht mode by the a utoma ti c s ch edul e, t he Nigh t Ser vi c e fle x
    button can not remove the system from night mode.
    From an idle station:

    Removing Night Service Mode

    To access an outside line or a feature:
    Go of f-hook or press the ON/OFF button.
    To access internal intercom dial tone, while Off-Hook Preference enabled:

    numbe r. ( Do not l if t hands et or pr es s O N/ O FF but ton bef ore di al ing
