    RX Text Mail Header Processing
0 This setting determines whether the header in
formation is printed with text e-mails
    when they are received.
    0: Prints only text mail.
1: Prints mail header information attached to text mail.
When a text mail is received with this switch On (1), the “From” address and
“Subject” address are printed as header information.
When a mail with only binary data is rece ived (a TIFF-F file, for example), this
setting is ignored and no header is printed.
Output from Attached Document at E-mail TX Error
1 This setting determines whether only the
first page or all pages of an e-mail
attachment are printed at the sending st ation when a transmission error occurs.
This allows the customer to see whic h documents have not reached their intended
destinations if sent to the wrong e-mail addresses, for example.
    0: Prints 1st page only.
    1: Prints all pages.
    Text String for Return Receipt
This setting determines the te xt string output for the Return Receipt that confirms
the transmission was received no rmally at the destination.
    2-3 00: “Dispatched”
Sends from PC mail a request for a Return Receipt. Receives
    the Return Receipt
with “dispatched” in the 2nd part:
    Disposition: Automatic-action/M DN-send automatically; dispatched
The “dispatched” string is included in the Subject string.
    01: “Displayed”
Sends from PC mail a request for a Return Receipt. Receives the Return Receipt
with “displayed” in the 2nd part:
    Disposition: Automatic-action/M DN-send automatically; displayed
The “displayed” string is in cluded in the Subject string.
    10: Reserved
    11 : R e s e r v e d
A mail requesting a Return Receipt sent from an IFAX with this switch set to “00”
(for “dispatched”) received by Microsof t Outlook 2000 may cause an error. If any
setting other than “displayed” (01) causes a problem, change the setting to “01” to
enable normal sending of the Return Receipt.
    Media accept feature
4 This setting adds or does not add the media accept feature to the answer mail to
    confirm a reception.
0: Does not add the media accept
     feature to the answer mail
1: Adds the media accept feature to the answer mail.
Use this bit switch if a problem occurs when the machine receives an answer mail,
which contains the media accept feature field.

Image Resolution of RX Text Mail
7 This setting determines the image resolution of the received mail.
    0: 200 x 200
    1: 400 x 400
The “1” setting requires installation of the Function Upgrade Card in order to have
enough SAF (Store and Forward) memory to receive images at 400 x 400
    resolution.

    Subject for Delivery TX/Memory Transfer
0 This setting determines whether the RTI/CSI registered on this machine or the
RTI/CSI of the originator is used in th
e subject lines of transferred documents.
0: Puts the RTI/CSI of the originator in t he Subject line. If this is used, either the
RTI or CSI is used. Only one of these c an be received for use in the subject line.
1: Puts the RTI/CSI registered on this machine in the Subject line.
When this switch is used to transfer and de liver mail to a PC, the information in the
Subject line that indicates where t he transmission originated can be used to
determine automatically the destination folder for each e-mail.
1 Subject corresponding to mail post database
    0: Standard subject
    1: Mail post database subject
The standard subject is replaced by the
mail post database subject in the following
    three cases:
    1) When the service technician sets the service (software) switch.
    2) When memory sending, delivery specified by F code or SMTP reception is
    done.
    3) With relay broadcasting (1st st age without the Schmidt 4 function).

ƒ This switch does not apply for conditi on 3) when the RX system is set up
for memory sending, delivery by F- code, sending with SMTP RX and
when operators are using FOL (to prevent problems when receiving
    transmissions).

Memory Threshold for POP Mail Reception
0-7 This setting determines the amount of
SAF (Store and Forward) memory. (SAF
stores fax messages to send later for tr ansmission to more than one location, and
also holds incoming messages if they cannot be printed.) When the amount of
    SAF memory available falls below this  setting, mail can no longer be received;
received mail is then stored on the mail server.
