Cabinet installationWall-Mounting the CabinetWall-Mounting the Cabinet Guidelines Installation CAUTION:1Always turn the power switch OFF before beginning installation *The DBS 824 is shipped with the cover installed to protect components Before wall-mounting the cabinet, remove the cover lHandle the cabinet carefully to avoid damage 1Remove the two screws from the front cover (see Figure 3-1) 2Take the front cover off by pulling it from the bottom and lifting it up Figure 3-1 Cover removal Issued 3/l /95DBS 824-l O-3003-3
Wall-Mounting the CabinetCabinet installation3Install two screws in the wall studs 10 7/8’ apart as shown in Figure 3 2 The screws are used to attach the mounting slots to the wall The screws should protrude from the wall j/16 in wall-mountina 4Hang the cabinet on the wall by placing the mounting openings over the screws 5Tighten the screws to secure the cabinet. 6Install a mounting screw through the lower slot in the cabinet as shown in Figure 3-2 3-4DES 824-l O-300Issued 3/l /95
