For details, see Separate Scan Setting on page 4-69. 0With Separate Scan mode selected, the original glass can also be used to scan the original. 0Up to 30 title pages can be specified for the original from 1 to 999 pages. 0The tray selection can be changed for printing specified title pages. However, it cannot be changed individually for each title page. 1Position the original. – When using ADF, be sure to arrange the original in page order, and then place it with the first page faceup; otherwise the copy result may not be satisfactory. – When using original glass, be sure to scan from the first page of the original in page order; otherwise the copy result may not be satisfactory. 2Enter the desired print quantity from the control panel keypad. 3Select [1%1] or [2%1] mode. – For details on specifying Simplex/Duplex Setting on page 4-56. Application Functions6 bizhub 500/420/360 (Phase 3) 6-31 6Specify the title pages. – Touch [P---] to highlight it, then enter the desired page number from the control panel keypad. – Touch up/down arrow keys to scroll the screen to use all 30 keys. – Touch [Select]. – To change the tray selection for title pages, proceed to the next step. – If tray selection is not needed, touch [Select] to display the Chapters Check Screen. Proceed to step 8. ?What if an entered page number is larger than the total original page count? %The entered page number will be ignored. ?What if the same page number is entered twice? %The copy result will not change. The page number entered twice or more will be ignored. ?Do you want to delete the page number once entered? %Touch and highlight the page number key to be cleared, then press [C] (Clear) on the control panel. The machine will start scanning the original, then printing when ready for output. 2 Note To release the selected application function, touch [OFF]. To release all the application functions, touch [Reset]. Different Zoom or Paper settings can be specified for a part of the document or Finishing settings or the Set Numbering function can be set after the entire document is scanned, and then all copies can be printed together. 6Application Functions 6-36 bizhub 500/420/360 (Phase 3)To copy using Program Job 0The Separate Scan mode will function automatically. 0Once specified, paper size setting cannot be changed for another JOB. 0Finishing mode and print quantity setting cannot be specified for each JOB. 0Max. 100 JOBs can be programmed for an output job. 0Program Job setting cannot be stored in Mode Memory. 1Position the original FACE UP in the ADF or FACE DOWN one the original glass. – If the number of ADF originals exceeds100, them into blocks not exceeding 100 sheets and load them from the block with the first page. 2Touch [Application] tab on the Basic Screen.
