system will p erform p roperly after installation and  ad ministration.

Make Test Calls 
Make 2 c alls from 1 telep hone to another telep hone. Make the first c all b y d ialing  
a telep hone and  make the sec ond  c all b y dialing a trunk ac c ess c od e and  a 
Listed  Direc tory Number (LDN).
Test 302C Attendant Console
Chec k all lamp s are op erational and  c all another telep hone in the system.
1. Simultaneously p ress and  hold  the Ring er Volume up  b utton and the POS 
BUSY b utton. This p uts the c onsole in the self-test mod e.
NOTE:
Releasing the buttons c auses the c onsole to return to normal mod e.
2. Verify all lamp s on d isp lay lig ht and  remain lighted . Eac h row of lamp s on 
the c onsole lights and  g oes d ark in seq uenc e from top to b ottom.
3. Press Start. Listen for d ial tone. The g reen lamp  assoc iated  with id le c all 
ap p earanc e b utton lig hts. The Position Availab le lamp  g oes d ark.
4. Dial numb er assoc iated  with a working  telep hone. Aud ib le ring ing  tone is 
heard  in ear p iec e.
5. Press Release. Audible ringing tone is silenced. The green lamp 
assoc iated  with id le c all ap p earanc e b utton g oes d ark. The Position 
Available lamp lig hts.
Test Selector Console
Chec k all selec tor c onsole lamp s are op erational. Make c all to a telep hone in the 
system.
1. Simultaneously p ress and  hold  the Ring er Volume up  b utton and the POS 
BUSY b utton on the attend ant c onsole. This p uts the c onsole in the 
self-test mod e.
2. Eac h row of lamp s on the selec tor c onsole lig hts and  g oes d ark in 
seq uenc e from top  to b ottom.
3. Press hundred s g roup  selec t b utton. The hund red s g roup  selec t lamp  
lig hts and any lamp s assoc iated  with b usy telephone lig ht.
4. Press Direc t Extension Selec tion (DXS) b utton for the desired  extension. 
Aud ib le ring ing  tone is heard  in the earp iec e on attendant c onsole.
5. On attend ant c onsole, p ress Release. Aud ib le ring ing tone is silenc ed .
