ADJUSTMENT 3.1 Adjustment of Auto-Toner Sensor When the developer material is replaced, adjust the auto-toner sensor in the following procedure. (Adjustment Mode (05-200)) (1) Install the process unit into the equipment. Note: Note: Do not install the toner cartridge. (2) While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON. The following message will be displayed. Fig.3-1 (3) Key in code [200] and press the [START] button. The display changes as follows. Fig.3-2 Notes: A indicates the controlled value of the auto-toner sensor output. Press the Up or Down button to change the value. B indicates the output voltage of the auto-toner s ensor (2.30 V in the above case). The drum, developer unit, etc. are in operation. C indicates the latest adjustment value. Fig.3-3 (5) After a short time, the value B becomes stable and the display changes as follows. Fig.3-4 (6) Check if the value B is within the range of 235 to 245 (the output voltage range of the auto-toner sensor is 2.35 V to 2.45 V). (7) If the value B is not within the range of 235 to 245, press the Up or Down button to adjust the value manually. Note: Note: The relation between the button and the values A an d B is as follows. (8) Press the [ENTER] or [INTERRUPT] button. The drum, developer unit, etc. are stopped and the following is displayed. Fig.3-5 (9) Turn the power OFF. (10) Install the toner cartridge.
