Review Exercise -Package C Installation (5.2) INSTRUCTIONS: THE FOLLOWING EXERCISE CONSISTS OF MULTIPLE CHOICE, TRUE/FALSE, FILL IN THE BLANK, OR MATCHING TYPE QUESTIONS. ALL AVAILABLE RESOURCES (I.E., STUDENT WORKBOOK, NOTES, AND GTEP MANUAL) MAY BE USED AS REFERENCES. SUBMIT EXERCISE TO INSTRUCTOR FOR GRADING WHEN LAST QUESTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.(TRUE OR FALSE) THE 6PFE CARD CAN PROVIDE POWER FAILURE TRANSFER INTERFACES FOR THE STANDARD OR EXPANDED SYSTEMS, IF INSTALLED IN SLOT 22 OF BOTH BASIC OR EXPANSION CABINETS. IF THE 6PFE CARD IS USED IN THE EXPANSION CABINET, THE CARD’S MUST BE SET IN EXPANSION MODE. EACH DATA INTERFACE UNIT (DIU) REQUIRES INSTALLATION OF PAIR OF WIRES ON THE TERMINAL BLOCK. DATA INTERFACE UNITS USED WITH MODEMS MUST BE IN MODE TO COMMUNICATE VIA THE RS-232-C CABLE. HOW CAN AN ATTENDANT CONSOLE BE INSTALLED TO ACCOMMODATE DISTANCES GREATER THAN 300 FEET FROM THE SYSTEM CABINET? INSTALLATION OF EXPANSION CABINET REQUIRES CONNECTION OF AN INTERMODULE CABLE FROM THE CARD IN THE BASIC CABINET TO THE CARD IN THE EXPANSION CABINET. 5.58
Review Exercise - Package YicInstallation (5.2) (Continued).. . 7. 8. 9. 10.(TRUE OR FALSE)THE HOTEL/MOTEL PRINTER IS CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE SYSTEM VIA A TWO-WIRE INTERFACE TO A CIRCUIT ON THE 4CHT CARD. INSTALLATION OF POWER TRANSFER FOR THE EXPANDED SYSTEM REQUIRES CROSS CONNECTIONS FOR THE , AND, SIGNAL LEADS ON THE 6PFT AND 6PFE CARDS. AN ATTENDANT CONSOLE CROSS CONNECTED TO CIRCUIT 4 OF AN 8EKC CARD INSTALLED IN SLOT 01 WOULD USE PINS , AND , ON THE CDF TERMINAL BLOCK. A DATA INTERFACE UNIT CROSS CONNECTED TO CIRCUIT 2 OF AN 8DTC CARD INSTALLED IN SLOT 00 WOULD USE PINSAND ON THE CDF TERMINAL BLOCK. 5.59
