    Description 
    This c ommand  retrieves all p ag es of the following  sc reens for the d ate, time, and 
    searc h information that you sp ec ify: 
    nDEFINITY AUDIX Disp lay Events 
    ADAP up d ates the sp ec ific ation field s of the DEFINITY AUDIX Disp lay Events 
    sc reen while retrieving  the data. The system retains the values you sup p ly after 
    the retrieval is c omp leted . 
    If you omit the op tions and  their q ualifiers (for examp le; 
    session, Reporting- 
    resource-typ e
    , Resource-typ e), then all errors from and  inc lud ing the sp ec ified  
    d ate and  time are returned . For c omp lete lists of errors, sessions, rep orting  
    resource typ es, resource typ es, see the ap p rop riate voice mail system 
    maintenanc e manual. 
    No inp ut is required . All events retrieved  are written to stand ard  outp ut. 
    -d
    Date flag ; must b e followed  b y 
    mmddyy. The d efault is to retrieve 
    d ata for any d ate. 
    mmdd yy Retrieves d ata starting  at the month, d ay, and year indic ated  b y 
    mmddyy. For examp le, if you enter 012295
    , the d ata starting  on 
    January 22, 1995, will b e retrieved . 
    -t
    Time of the d ay flag; must b e followed  b y 
    hhmm. The default is to 
    retrieve d ata starting  at any time for the g iven date. 
    hhmm Retrieves errors from the sp ec ified  hour and  minute to the c urrent 
    time. For examp le, if you enter 1512
     at 6:00 p .m. (for retrieval on 
    the same d ay), the d ata from 3:12 p .m. to 6:00 p .m. will b e 
    retrieved. Midnight is represented by 0000.
    -a
    Alarm flag ; must b e followed  b y

    RES_RST Alarm resolved  b y restart.
    RES_REM Alarm resolved  b y removal of alarmed  resourc e.

    Error information flag ; must b e followed  by

    y/n Retrieves or d oes not retrieve errors. Errors inc lud e the following  
    event types: 
    IN_LINE Error enc ountered  d uring  normal system ac tivity.

    If no events exist that fit the spec ified searc h, no output is written. If you use this 
    c ommand  with an I
    NTUITY AU D I X o r  R1  AU D I X Sy st e m ,  a n  e r ro r m e s s a g e

    Loc ation flag ; must b e followed  with

    loc ation Retrieves errors log g ed  ag ainst resourc es at the sp ec ified

    nnnn Retrieves the numb er (
    nnnn) of rec ord s that you sp ec ify. If this flag  
    is not used , all rec ord s that meet the sp ec ific ation c riteria will b e 
    retrieved .

    Release flag ; must b e followed  b y 
    release. 
    release Retrieves d ata for the spec ified  release of the DEFINITY AUDIX 
    software. The default for the DEFINITY AUDIX System  is D-r3.2.  
    -v
    Writes transfer statistic s to the sc reen at the end  of the transfer. 
    Pressing  v
     while the c ommand  is exec uting  send s the up d ated  
    transfer status to the sc reen. 
    -w
    Writes a one-line summary of the exit status of this c ommand  into 
    the file, form_req.rc
    . 
    -V
    Writes the ADAP version numb er for this c ommand  and  exits 
    without transferring  any sc reens d ata.

     c ommand  is formatted  as follows, with one rec ord  
    for eac h event.
    Example 
    The following  c ommand  retrieves the DEFINITY AUDIX Display Events d ata from 
    12:25 p .m. on Oc tob er 14, 1994, to the hour and  minute the c ommand  was 
    entered , writes a summary of the transfer statistic s to the sc reen, and writes 
    output to a file named  events.

    releases of DEFINITY AUDIX
    Errors 
    If either the d ate or time is invalid  when c ommunic ating with an R1 AUDIX
    System, the retrieval is ab orted  and  no rec ord s are written.

    NTUITY or DEFINITY AUDIX System, if the sp ec ified  d ate and time is 
    b efore any valid  date and  time, the retrieval starts at the first d ate and  time with 
    d ata. If the sp ec ified  d ate and  time is following  a valid  date, an error message is 
    returned  and  the retrieval ab orts. 
    Example 
    The following c ommand retrieves the INTUITY or DEFINITY AUDIX List 
    Measurements Features Day sc reen d ata for Dec emb er 22, 1994, writes a 
    summary of the transfer statistic s to the sc reen, and writes outp ut to a file named  
    daylds.
