Use the procedure below to set the default orientation for printing. 1Press the System Menu key. 2Press [Printer] and [Change] of Orientation . 3Press [Portrait] or [Landscape]. 4Press [OK]. Form Feed Timeout Receiving print data from the computer, the machine ma y sometimes wait if there is no information signaling that the last page does not have any more data to be printed. When the preset timeout passes, the machine automatically prints paper. The op tions are between 5 and 495 seconds. Use the procedure below to set the form feed timeout. 1Press the System Menu key. 2Press [Printer], [ ] and [Change] of Form Feed Timeout . 3Press [+] or [–] to set the Form Feed Timeout. It is recommended to keep the default ([Off]). Use the procedure below to specify the setting for correcting fine black lines. 1Press the System Menu key. 2Press [ ], [Adjustment/Maintenance] and [Change] of Correcting Black Line . 3Press [Off], [On(Low)] or [On(High)]. 4Press [OK]. System Initialization Initialize the hard disk mounted on the machine to return to the default mode. Refer to System Initialization on page 8-87 about the initialization procedures. Display Brightness Set the brightness of the touch panel. Paper feed direction Item Description Off No correction performed. On(Low) Correction performed.
