    Monitor Commands
    Use the monitor
     c ommand  to d isp lay real-time status reports. Whenever a status 
    rep ort is d isp layed  on the manag ement terminal, it is automatic ally up d ated  
    every thirty second s. Press 
    CANCEL to ab ort the monitor
     c ommand .
    NOTE:
    When c anc eling  out of some monitor c ommand s, the manag ement terminal 
    interfac e is automatic ally log g ed  off. This is not ad ministrab le.
    If the status rep ort c onsists of more than one p ag e, use 
    NEXT PAGE to d isp lay any 
    subsequent pages and 
    PREV PA G E to display previous pages. 
    If you enter the monitor
     c ommand  inc orrec tly, or if the q ualifier is not app lic ab le 
    or c annot b e measured , a d esc rip tive error messag e ap p ears on the messag e 
    line. The messag e line is the b ottom line on the sc reen. Usually the error 
    messag es p rovid e enoug h detail to d etermine the p rob lem. However, you may 
    p ress HELP when need ed .
    List Commands
    Use the list
     c ommand  to ob tain historic al information for a list of all (or a selec ted 
    rang e of) attend ants, trunk g roup s, hunt g roups, and  so on. 
    Display Commands
    Use the display
     c ommand  to id entify the p arameters assoc iated  with a sp ec ific  
    ob jec t/q ualifier (for examp le, the p arameters b eing  measured ).

    Change Commands
    Use the change
     c ommand  to alter the g roup  of p arameters b eing  measured .
    Clear Commands
    Use the clear
     c ommand to remove the measurement d ata g enerated  as the 
    result of an alarm or a system irreg ularity.
    Displaying Reports
    The commands, listed in Table 1-1, and the resulting reports are described in 
    d etail in Chap ters 2–6. 
    Eac h of the monitor
     and list
     commands, depicted in Table 1-1
    , results in 
    p rod uc ing (d isp laying ) a d ifferent rep ort on the manag ement terminal sc reen. If 
    the c ommand  line qualifier print
     is selected  
    — the report is immediately printed 
    on the slave p rinter assoc iated  with the manag ement terminal. Whenever the 
    c ommand  line qualifier schedule
     is initially exec uted , the system d efaults the 
    rep ort for immed iate p rinting  (on the System Printer unless a day and  time of d ay 
    is scheduled) and generates a Job Id. The Job Id is required by the Report 
    Sc heduler feature for up d ating  and  d eleting  the sc hed ule of rep orts. The Rep ort 
    Scheduler, which is described in Chapter 2, ‘‘System Printer and 
    Report-Scheduler’’, is used  to ad minister a time/d ay sc hed ule for eac h d esired  
    rep ort.
