% ATBPerc entag e All Trunks Busy. The p erc entage of time all trunks
in the trunk g roup were simultaneously in use d uring the
    measurement interval.
    NOTE:
In use means that the trunks are b usy — either serving
c alls or b ec ause they are busied -out b y maintenanc e.
    Suggested Actions:
    1. If the group d irec tion is outg oing or two-way, a hig h
numb er in the % ATB field and nothing in the Grp Ovfl
ind ic ates everything is func tioning normally. However, a
more typ ic al sc enario is a hig h numb er in this field and a
hig h numb er in the Grp Ovfl field . This indic ates a p ossib le
p roblem that nec essitates further analysis. Unless this
trunk g roup is the last p referenc e in the p attern, overflow is
to the next c hoic e trunk g roup, and the numb er in the Grp
Ovfl field is of no great sig nific anc e. Otherwise, the
ob vious c hoic e is to ad d more trunks to the trunk g roup .
    2. If the group d irec tion is inc oming , a hig h numb er in this
field is b ad . It indic ates some inc oming c alls are p rob ab ly
b loc ked . Generally, you want to ad d more trunks, thus
lowering the % ATB and d ec reasing the numb er of c alls
    blocked.

    Wideband Trunk Group Summary Report
The Wid eband Trunk Group Summary Rep ort provid es d ata essential for
monitoring trunk g roups sup p orting wid eb and servic e to assure they p rovid e the
exp ec ted level of servic e. The rep ort is mod eled after the Trunk Group Summary
Rep ort b ut only trunk g roup s ad ministered to p rovid e wid eb and servic e are
rep orted . Other trunk g roup s d o not ap p ear on the rep ort. If a trunk g roup is
ad ministered to p rovid e wid eb and servic e b ut had no wid eb and traffic d uring the
measurement period , then zeros are shown on the rep ort.
The yesterd ay-p eak and tod ay-p eak rep orts list the wid eb and c all ac tivity for the
p eak wid eb and traffic hour. That is, the measurements shown are those that
oc c urred d uring the hour in whic h the Total Usag e for wid eband servic e for that
trunk group was hig hest. This is not nec essarily the same p eak hour as the p eak
hour for total usag e as shown on the overall Trunk Group Summary Rep ort. Note
that on the Wid eb and Trunk Group Summary Report, the measurements for
d ifferent trunk g roup s are not nec essarily time-c oinc id ent with eac h other.
    !CAUTION:
The yesterd ay-p eak and tod ay-p eak rep orts c annot b e used to d etermine
narrowb and usag e exc ept in c ases where the p eak traffic hour for total
usag e (shown on the overall rep ort) is the same as the p eak hour for
wid eband usag e (shown on this rep ort) for a p artic ular trunk g roup in the
same measurement p eriod . In this c ase alone, narrowband measurements
for that trunk group may b e d etermined by sub trac ting the wid eb and
measurements from the measurements shown on the overall rep ort for the
    same trunk group.
    !CAUTION:
For trunk group s where the p eak hour is d ifferent on the overall summary
rep ort from that shown on the wideb and summary rep ort, the narrowb and
usag e must b e d etermined b y using the measurements on the Wid eb and
Trunk Group Hourly Rep ort. In ad d ition, if there were c alls b loc ked at that
time, the group should be studied using both the overall and wideband
hourly reports to determine whether wideband calls were blocked.

    Wideband Trunk Group Hourly Report
The Wid eband Trunk Group Hourly Rep ort shows the wid eb and c all ac tivity for
