    							2-16 Sy stem  Timers
    Des crip ti on
    The Automatic  Call  Back Timer in vokes a  call  back a nytime a  user  listens  
    to  busy  tone  for  a p rogramm able p eriod  of  time.  By d efa ult,  the 
    Au to ma ti c  Ca ll  B ac k  Ti me r  is  se t  fo r  03  s ec o nds  (e nabl ed ), a nd i s  var ia ble  
    from 00-99 seconds. A value of 00  disables this timer. An Automatic  Call 
    Back d oes  not occur  when  this  timer  is  disab led.
    Reminder Ring Timer
    Pro g ram mi ng  S te ps
    1. Pres s the REMINDER RING flex  button (FLASH  01, Button  #18). T he 
    following message displays:
    2. Enter a valid number that corresponds to 00-99 seconds in 1 second 
    increments. A value of  00 disables  the timer,  therefore  the user only 
    r ec e iv es  one  ri ng b urs t  at  th e b egi nni ng of  th e c a ll .
    3. Press HOLD to save the entry. A confirmation  tone is  heard  and the 
    display updates.
    Des crip ti on
    Whe n a  CO  l ine  r ings  at  a  bus y s tat i on, t he  cal l  ri ngs  at  t he  st ati on  usin g 
    muted  ringing. The CO Line  Ringing  Option feature enables a  user  to 
    receive a  reminder ring instead of muted ring. This timer provides a 
    re mi nder  r in g e ver y t i me  the  t im er  ex pir es , a s l ong  as  the  i nc omin g CO  
    line re mains connected .
    If the u ser continues their  present conversation  and  the CO party  does 
    not hang  up,  the  Re min der Ring tim er ex pire s an d the  use r re ceives  
    another ring burst.  When the key  set user ends  the existing  call,  ringing 
    for the CO  call reverts to normal ringing.
    By default, the Reminder  Ring  Timer is  set to 00 second and is  variable 
    from 00-99 seconds in 1 second increments.

    The user is signaled via  a queue callback indication.
    The Redial  flexible button flashes at the  callback rate of 120 ipm for 
    15 seconds.

    Des crip ti on
    The Attendant Display Timer  modifies  the way in which multiple calls 
    ringing at  the attendant station  display.  Currently, if two calls are ringing 
    at  an  at te ndant  s ta ti on,  when  th e s ta ti on goe s  off h ook, t he  fi rs t  call  i s 
    answ er ed.  The  LC D upd at es  to s how t he  sec on d c al l t hat  i s r i nging  whi ch  
    sometimes does  not allow  the station to view the  current call’s LCD  
    information.  This timer keeps the current  call’s information  on the  LCD 
    for the set time  period, then shows any other calls ringing  in  at the  time.
    By default, the  Attendant Display  Timer is  set for  1  second and is variable 
    from 00-99 seconds.

    A  Call Coverage Ring Timer  enables  the user to place another station 
    under  a flex button. When that station rings  with an internal  or  external 
    cal l,  the  D SS  but ton  for  t hat  st at ion  ri ngs  or  fl ashe s.

    The  Mode m Answe r  Ti me r  deter mi nes  how l ong  the  O n Boa rd  mode m 
    pr ovid es  a car ri e r t one  to a  di st ant  mode m. I f a con nect ion  is  not m ade  at  
    the end of this timer, the  On  Board modem hangs  up.
    By default, the Modem Answer  Timer is set fo r 25 seconds  and  is variable 
    from 25-999 seconds. 
    Pulse Dial Inter-Digit Timer

    for  cer t ain  app li cat ions  t hat  r equi r e m ore  t han t he  st and ard  DT MF T ime  
    of 100ms on  and 100ms off.

    When outside  lines are marked UNA,  ringing activates a  tone over 
    external pa ging wh en an  incoming call occurs on those  lines  during night 
    service. By  default,  External Night Ring is disabled.
