    The Attendant Recall Timer determines the time a recalling call rings at 
    the  a tt end ant  st at i on(s)  bef ore  t he  syst e m r el ea ses  t he  li ne.  Whe n a  CO  
    Line recalls  to  the Attendant station and is still unanswered,  the system 
    re le as es  the  l in e a t  the  e xpi ra ti o n o f  thi s  ti me r  and a u to m at ic al ly  pl ac e s 
    the  l in e t o a n i dle  c ond it ion.
    By default, the Attendant Recall Timer  is set  for 1 minute and is variable 
    fr om 0 0–60 minutes. An  entry of 00 causes the Attendant(s) to ring until 
    answ er ed.

    Des crip ti on
    The Transfer Recall Timer determines the time a transferred call rings at 
    the station receiving  the transfer before it recalls the  station  making the 
    tr ans fer . If unans wer ed  by tha t st at ion,  t he c a ll  r ec al l s t he at te ndan t. By 
    def aul t, t he  Tr ans fer  Recal l  Ti mer  is  se t f or 4 5 s econd s and i s v ar iab le  fr om 
    000-300 seconds. A 000  entry disables the timer  and  there is  no recall.
    Preset Forward  Timer

    The Preset Forward Timer determines the time an outside  line  rings 
    be fore  be in g for war de d t o a  pr ede te rm ine d s ta ti on.  Thi s e nt ry  work s 
    with Pres et F orwa rd station ass ignm ents in Station Programming. More  
    tha n one  s tation can  be  forwarded  to the s ame  pa rty.

    retu rning to intercom dial tone, if not answered. By default, the  Preset

    The Call Forward  No/Answer Timer is used  when a  station in the system 
    spe cif ie s t hat  no  ans wer  cal ls  be  for war de d t o an othe r  st at ion.  Th e t i mer  
    det e rmi ne s how  long  an  int er c om o r t r ansf er re d c a ll  r ings  be for e  it  i s 
    considered a  no-an swer ca ll. The  call then forwards  to  th e d esigna ted 
    station for hand ling. By  de fault,  the Call Forward No/Answ er Time r is se t 
    for 15  seconds and is variable from 000-600 seconds.

    fr om 0 1–60 seconds. A  00 entry disables the timer and pages are  not 
    limited in length. This aff ects the use of the Meet Me Page feature.
    CO Ring Detect Ti me r

    The CO Ring Detect Timer controls the time necessary to detect an 
    o u ts id e l i ne r i ngin g i nto   the  s yst em.

    from 2-9 (200 ms to 900ms). There is no  0  or  1 entry.

    Single line telephones require  the use of a  DTMF receiver  when going 
    off- hook a nd di al ing . Wh en S MDR or  t oll  r es tr i cti on (v ia  CO S 
    ass ign ment s)  is  e nabl ed,  a  DTMF  r ecei ve r  moni tor s  and s cre ens  t he  SLT  
    digits for the du ration of this timer. By adjusting this timer, the system 
    admi ni st ra tor  may f re e sy st em D TMF r ece iv er s soone r  i f s yst em S LT t r affi c 
    is heavy,  or provide a longer monitoring period  if toll restriction becomes 
    a p rob le m.
    Not e t ha t w hen  LCR  i s  ena ble d,  the  D TM F  re c ei ver s  ar e r el e ase d whe n 
    the expected number of  digits  are dialed as entered in the LCR  database.
    By default, the SLT DTMF  Receiver  Timer is  set at  20 seconds and is 
    variable from  005-100 seconds.
    Message Wait Reminder  Tone

    telephones.  On -Hook  or  Off -Hook  signals that a re sh orter in duration 
    than this timer are  ignored by the system. Refer to Fi gur e 2-1  .
