A job is counted from when it is registered for sending, not when it is sent. [0 to 9999999/ 0 / 1] Note: At the present time, these counters perform identical counts. ƒ This counts fax jobs started from a PC using a PC fax application, and sending the data out to the destination from the PC through the copier. 8 191 T:Total Scan PGS *CTL 8 192 C:Total Scan PGS *CTL 8 193 F:Total Scan PGS *CTL 8 195 S:Total Scan PGS *CTL 8 196 L:Total Scan PGS *CTL These SPs count the pages scanned by each application that uses the scanner to scan images. [0 to 9999999/ 0 / 1] ƒ SP 8 191 to 8 196 count the number of scanned sides of pages, not the number of physical pages. ƒ These counters do not count reading user stamp data, or reading color charts to adjust color. ƒ Previews done with a scanner driver are not counted. ƒ A count is done only after all images of a job have been scanned. ƒ Scans made in SP mode are not counted. Examples ƒ If 3 B5 pages and 1 A3 page are scanned with the scanner application but not stored, the S: count is 4. ƒ If both sides of 3 A4 sheets are copied and stored to the document server using the Store File button in the Copy mode window, the C: count is 6 and the L: count is 6.
SM 5-333 B230/B237 Service Tables ƒ If both sides of 3 A4 sheets are copied but not stored, the C: count is 6. ƒ If you enter document server mode then scan 6 pages, the L: count is 6. B230/B237 5-334 SM ƒ If the scanner application scans and stores 3 B5 sheets and 1 A4 sheet, the S: count is 4. ƒ If pages are copied but not stored on the document server, these counters do not change. ƒ If both sides of 3 A4 sheets are copied and stored to the document server, the C: count is 6 and the L: count is 6. ƒ If you enter document server mode then scan 6 pages, the L: count is 6. ADF Org Feeds *CTL [0 to 9999999/ 0 / 1] 8 221 These SPs count the number of pages fed through the ADF for front and back side scanning. 8 221 1 Front Number of front sides fed for scanning: With an ADF that can scan both sides simultaneously, the Front side count is the same as the number of pages fed for either simplex or duplex scanning. With an ADF that cannot scan both sides simultaneously, the Front side count is the same as the number of pages fed for duplex front side scanning. (The front side is determined by which side the user loads face up.) 8 221 2 Back Number of rear sides fed for scanning: With an ADF that can scan both sides simultaneously, the Back count is the same as the number of pages fed for duplex scanning. With an ADF that cannot scan both sides simultaneously, the Back count is the same as the number of pages fed for duplex rear-side scanning. ƒ When 1 sheet is fed for duplex scanning the Front count is 1 and the Back count is 1. ƒ If a jam occurs during the job, recovery processing is not counted to avoid double counting. Also, the pages are not counted if the jam occurs before the first sheet is output. 8 231 Scan PGS/Mode *CTL [0 to 9999999/ 0 / 1]
