You can copy data from a single source to a single destination, or from a single source to a range of COSs, extensions or trunks. 9800 - System Utilities, Part 1 9802 - Swap Command Utility (U Slot) DS1000/2000 Software Manual Chapter 2: Programming559 9802 - Swap Command Utility (U Slot) Description Use 9802: Swap Command to swap extensions, trunks, or slot positions. Use this option as an alternative to manual cross-connect or extensive reprogramming. Keep the following in mind when using 9802: Swap Command: The system will prevent you from swapping an extension with a trunk. When you swap extensions, all the programmed parameters swap also. For example, swap- ping keyset 301 with Voice Mail port 316 creates keyset 316 and Voice Mail port 301, with all programming intact. When you swap PCBs (slots), all the programmed parameters swap also. You cannot swap slot 1; that assignment is fixed. The system will not currently swap operator assignments. Conditions None Telephone Programming Instructions To swap extensions or trunks: 1. Enter the programming mode. 2. 9802 + HOLD. 3. Enter E. You see: 4. Enter the number of the first extension or trunk you want to swap + HOLD. 5. Enter the number of the second extension or trunk you want to swap + HOLD. SWAP FAILED indicates that you tried to make an illegal swap. 6. Press HOLD to return to step 2 to make another swap. OR Press HOLD + CONF to exit. To swap PCBs (slots): 1.
