1700 - Key Programming 1702 - Personal Speed Dial DS1000/2000 Software Manual Chapter 2: Programming523 Telephone Programming Instructions 1. Enter the programming mode. 2. 1702 + HOLD 3. Press VO L to select the extension you want to program (300-395 in DS2000 or 300-323 in DS1000) + HOLD. OR Press HOLD to program the currently selected extension. 4. For the extension selected, press VO L to select the bin you want to program (701-720) + HOLD. OR Press HOLD to program the currently selected bin. 5. Enter the trunk number (1-48 in DS2000, 1-6 in DS1000) you want the system to use when dialing the stored number + HOLD. Programmable Function Keys automatically become DSS keys when the user press ICM. While in the DSS mode, the extension has one button Intercom access and a Busy Lamp Field for the assigned co-worker. By default, BLF keys are undefined. Note: If you are doing extensive programming, you may find Program 9801 - Copy Command (page 557) saves you time when customizing this option. Conditions None Telephone Programming Instructions 1. Enter the programming mode. 2. 1703 + HOLD 3. Enter the number of the station port (1-32) you want to program + HOLD 4. As DSTU PCBs are added in 9902 - Slot Assignment on page 562, the corresponding DSS Console Hotline keys for those extensions are automatically enabled (provided you use the standard extension numbering plan). Note that the features permanently assigned to keys 97-110 still avail- able on initial power-up.
