Warning: When extending the two rack gears, ensure they do not become bent or damaged. 15. Ensure the two rack gears are fully extended toward the front of the machine before reinstalling the transfer belt lift handle assembly (B). Warning: When replacing the transfer belt lift handle assembly, the two transfer belt lift mechanisms must be correctly timed or print quality problems and damage will occur.

Once the alignment is correctly set, replace the two plastic rack gear caps. Replacement warning: When replacing the transfer belt lift handle assembly (B), ensure the two timing marks on the two sector gears are aligned with the two timing knotches in the two rack gears. Replacement warning: Gently raise and lower the transfer belt lift handle assembly (B) and ensure that the lift mechanicsm is aligned properly and no binding occurs

Note: In order to remove the left transfer belt lift assembly (B), two E-clips and two washers must be removed. The two E-clips and two washers are located inside the machine in the area where the K PC unit is located. Warning: Do not loose the two E-clips, four washers, and two bearings. The need to be installed on the new left transfer belt lift assembly (B) being installed in the machine. 22. Remove the two E-clips and the two washers securing the left transfer belt lift assembly (B) to the machine.

Replacement note: Ensure that the two E-clips, four washers, and two bearings are properly reinstalled when installing the new left transfer belt lift assembly (B). Replacement warning: When replacing the transfer belt lift handle assembly (B), the two transfer belt lift mechanisms must be correctly timed or print quality problems and damage will occur.
