Image quality symptoms: • Dark print — “Faint print (Low contrast)” on page 2-229. •Vertical stripes— “Vertical stripes (process direction)” on page 2-238. •Horizontal stripes— “Horizontal stripes (side to side direction)” on page 2-240. •Spots— “Spots” on page 2-244. •Skew—“Skew” on page 2-249. •Media damage— “Media damage” on page 2-251. Note: When horizontal lines and/or spots occur periodically, it is possibly caused by a particular roll. In this case, measure the interval on the print test, and check the relation to the roll in the printer. The interval does not necessarily match circumference of the roll.
