Is the transfer belt drive motor assembly drive gear damaged?Replace the transfer belt drive motor assembly.Contact the next level of support. 12Check the transfer belt steering motor for proper connection. Touch Trans belt fail HP. 3. Touch Trans belt fail HP. Does the transfer belt appear damaged or torn in half?Go to step 2. Go to step 3. 2Check the transfer belt unit assembly for proper installation. Is the above component properly installed?Go to step 2. Re-install the transfer belt unit assembly. 3Check the transfer belt unit assembly for damage. Is the above component free of damage to the frame and the belt?Go to step 3. Replace the transfer belt unit assembly. 1Did the error occur following a developer unit replacement? Verify the developers are installed correctly. See “Developer unit assembly removal” on page 4-63. Go to the next step. 2Check to ensure that the transfer belt lift mechanism is functioning properly. If not removed before the transfer belt lever is lowered, the transfer belt steering mechanism lock might break and remain inside the machine in the area, as showing in the following image (A). The following images show the transfer belt steering mechanism lock. Are there any remnants from the packaging?Remove any packaging remnants.Go to the next step. 6Check the transfer belt steering motor assembly for proper operation. Caution: When performing motor tests, ensure that all cover and door interlock switches are overridden. 1. Enter the Diagnostics Menu. 2. Touch MOTOR TESTS. 3. Touch Printer Motor tests 4. Touch Transfer belt steering motor. Does the above component operate properly?Go to step 5. Go to step 4. 7Check the transfer belt steering motor for proper connection.
