When loading paper\w into the drawer for the first time,
set the slide guid\wes for the paper \being \wloaded\f (See
"Adjusting a Drawer to Hold a Different Paper Size
    (Drawer 1)," on p\f38\f)
When loading paper\w into the drawer, make sure that the
paper size setting of the d\wrawer matches the size of the
paper that is \being\w loaded\f (See "Adjusting a Drawer to
Hold a Different Paper Size (Drawer 1)," on p\f38\f)
    IMPORTANT
    • Rolled or curled paper must \be s\wtraightened out
    prior to use\f
    • Make sure that the height \wof the paper stack\w does
not exceed the loading l\wimit mark at the \back of th\we
drawer and the corners are \below the paper size
    guide clips\f
    • Make sure that the slide g\wuides are set correctly\f
If the guides are set on a wrong position, pape\wr
jams or dirty prints may occur, or the inside of\w the
    machine may get dirty\f
    NOTE
    • Each drawer holds a\bout 250 \wsheets of paper
    (80 g/m2)\f
    • If there are instructions on the package of paper
a\bout which side of\w the paper to load, follow those
    instructions\f
    • When the paper is \wloaded into the drawer, the side
facing up is the o\wne printed on\f
    • If pro\blems occur, such as poor print quality or
paper jams, try turning the paper sta\wck over, and
    reload it\f
    • For more information on the print direction of
preprinted paper (paper whi\wch has logos or
patterns already printed on it), see e-Manual > Basic
    Operations\f

    CAUTION
When returning the drawer to its original position,
\be careful not to get your fingers caught,\w as this may
    result in personal \winjury\f
    IMPORTANT
You will not \be a\ble \wto make copies or prints if you
load paper that ex\wceeds the loading \wlimit, or if the
drawer is not completely pushed into the machine\f
Always check that the d\wrawers are in place, and that
the paper does not\w exceed the loading l\wimit\f
    NOTE
If paper runs out d\wuring copying or printing, load
a new paper stack, and follow the instructions on
the display\f The machine automatically restarts, and
produces the remaining copies or\w prints\f
