In ad dition, the button provides an ind ication of voice messages waiting. Opera tion When the Voice Mail system has messages for any station, the Voice Mail button will flash. The di sp lay at E xecut iv e Ke y T el ep hones wi ll s how: To retrieve a vo ice mail message: 1. Press the [Voice Mail] button or press the [reply] button on an Executive Key Te l ephon e m odel . T he sys te m wi ll di al t he app ropr i ate num ber s (accord ing to pr ogra mmin g) to the Voi ce Ma il s ystem. 2. Dial your password. You ma y for war d ca ll s t o t he Voi ce Ma il sy st em usi ng C all F orwa rd and the Voi ce Mail Hunt Group nu mber. Calls that you forward to Voice Ma il will b e f orwa rded to y our mailbox. The person calling will hear your greeting and be prompted to leave a message. Once a message is left, the Voice Mail system will light the Voice Mail button. The Voice Mail system must be programmed to light Voice Mail buttons as follows: To turn ON the la mp: 1. Dial [#] + [9] + [6]. 2 . Di al st at ion numbe r. To turn OFF the lam p: 1. Opera tion If a station is se t for a 3-m inute Warning T one, th e us er will he ar Wa rning Tone whe n 3 minutes has elapsed. The tone will repeat every 10 seconds until the call is disconne cte d. Warning Tone may be applied to any station where outgoing call length is to be limited.
