W hen prop er ly eq uipp ed, t heDHS-Lwi ll d is pla y t his c al le r I D i nfor mat ion. The key system operation of this feature is dependent on the feature first being activated from the T elep hone Ce ntral Office (C O) so that the numbe r/nam e of the calling party will be delivered over the individual tip and ring of the CO lines during the first silent interval be twe en ri ngi ng. The fe ature s imp le mente d ar e: 1. Calling number or name display on initial ring-in of a line on the display keysets. 2. Incom ing call nu mber/name recordin g on the SMD R printout. 3. TheDHS- LRMTX_RATE is 1200 baud, and the range is programmable from 110/300/600/ 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200. This will allow the normal operation of the sys te m whe n ICL ID inf orma tion is not prese nted or the de vice which inte rce pts it and provid es th e information to the KSU is mis sing or fa iled . -or - If t hec a ll in g n a m eis av ai lab le , t he di spl ay wil l be shown as abov e w her e“X”r epr es ent s the internal table stora ge o f the calling na me. Note tha t the CO d elive ry of the calling name is 15-characters. If the CO delivers a name, it will be positioned left justified in the 15-character field on the display. If no name is available, the delivered number will be left justified in the display, as shown for the“N”s. For example, Executive Key Telephones will display the number or name (if programmed) of the internal station that is calling. If the information is prese nt at the time that an SMDR re cord is ge nerated for a ca ll, it will alter the conte nt and format of the SMD R output record . If the calling number is available, the number will be output in the SMDR record in the same location as the dialed number is located in the outgoing calls. Calls are parked and retrieved by dialing the Call Park code followed by the pre-assigned station number. Opera tion Dur ing a ca ll on Line 1 : 1. Dial [FEAT] + [7] + [3].
