The ADP ja ck is a n open, twisted -pair conductor path that m ay b e extended f rom th e KS U via the se c o nd pa ir o f th e s ta ti o n c a bli ng. The A DP m ay b e u s ed to ext e nd a SLT s yst em st at io n port or CO line to the d igital key telepho ne d es ktop for conve nient conne ction of any anal og int er face de vi ce ( answe r ing machi ne, mode m, facsi mi le ma ch ine , e tc. ). The stan dard 2-pa ir key telephone mountin g cord (line cord) p rov ided with each key telephone extends the second statio n cable pair to the key telephone ADP jack. Any analog device connected to the AD P jack operates ind ependently of key telep hone operation. Alarm Clock Des crip ti on You may activate your own private alarm on your telephone to remind you of special appointments, events, wakeup calls, etc. When the alarm activates, you will hear tone ringing fo r 6 seconds. After the 6 seconds, the alarm is automatically canceled. Opera tion ENHANCEDTEL EP HO N E S-- To turn ON a signaling alarm: 1. Press [FEAT ]. 2. Dial [9] + [2]. 3. When the progra mmed station is off- hook or in Do Not Disturb (DN D), the button LED will light red. This same button is used as a one-button Direct Station Selection (DSS) call button for quick inside calling.
