    call length is to be restricted. When set to Y this station will receive a warning tone over

    The system pro vides 6 Tenant Groups for partitioning the system into separate

    incom ing or trans ferred ca lls from other as sociated memb ers in the sa me group . Un like
    Dire cte d C all Pickup, you d o not hav e to know or rem embe r th e ringing station s

    Stations ma y be as signed to one of 24 av ailab le Pick Up or Pa gin g Groups. As a Station
    Grou p member, you a ls o receive Internal Zone Pages directed to your S tation Group.

    When the SHOW STATION prompt is displayed, the programmer should enter the
    thre e-d igit Station numbe r on the dial pad . Once entere d, the cente r S oft Button [show]
    is pressed to enter into Station Programming Parameters for that station number.

    The sy stem pro vid es a b uilt- in clock to track Sys tem Time fo r certain f eatures such as
    Sys te m N ight S ervi ce Mod e C hange , S MDR C al l Me ssa ge Recordin g, Al arm Cl ock C heck,
    etc. T his clock is b attery protected f rom power failure by a ba ttery p rov ided inside the
    KSU. Sys te m T im e ca n be chan ged at any Exe cutive Ke y T eleph one usin g the atte ndant
    password or system programming.

    You may use this feature to prevent unauthorized outside calling from your telephone.
    The feature code is a ls o used to prog ram your priv ate 4- digit pa ssword n umber. Default
    password = 0000.

    This feature allows the system administration to track all incoming and outgoing CO line
    tr aff ic. St at ion M ess age De t ail Re cordi ng (SM DR) is out put fr om t he SM DR RS2 32 s er ial
    por t locat e d onDHS-LCentral Processor Board. An external serial printer or call
    accounting device ma y be connected f or perman ent record keep ing or call cos t

    Ring Sc heme
    The sy st em may be se t to thr ee di ffe re nt r ingi ng sc hem es. I n S ch eme 0 and 2 , r ing ing is
    differentiated by cadence so that a user is aware of the type of call ringing at his station
    by the tone cadence. In Scheme 1, ringing of both intercom calls and CO line calls is the
    sam e.
    This option is provid ed when th e a pplica tion requ ires that ringing a dhe re to RS- 478 ring
    cadence specifications .

    ThesystemToneDetectorsontheDTMFReceivermaybeusedtodetectthepresenceof

    manual dialing. When engaged, the function has the effect of delayed dialed digits when
    manually dialing. It is recommended that this feature only be used in cases where dialing
    pr oble ms pe rsi st .

    Similar to the Dial Tone Detect feature, Dial Wait Time can be used to delay out dialing
    bas ed on a timer instea d of a T one D etector for a pplica tions where the provided dial tone
    cannot be prope rly detected by the b uilt- in Tone De tectors . T his fe ature s hould only be
    usedincaseswheredialingproblemspersist.
