Two tip and ring p airs form a 4-wire analog transmission line. An E and M p air are DC sig naling lead s used for c all setup . The E-lead rec eives sig nals from the tie trunk and the M-lead transmits sig nals to the tie trunk. To c hoose the preferred sig naling format (Table 2-2 and Table 2-3), set the switc hes on the TN760D and ad minister the p ort using Figure 2-2 and Table 2-4. Table 2-2.
