DSS Console Features User Manual361 5.3.5 ANSWER and RELEASE Buttons Operation [KX-T7441 only] The DSS Console for Attendant KX-T7441 is provided with the ANSWER button and the RELEASE button which are useful for operators who use headsets. For other DSS Consoles, ANSWER button and RELEASE button can be assigned to a DSS or PF button. With the ANSWER button, you can answer all incoming calls to the paired telephone. With the RELEASE button, you can disconnect the line during or after a conversation or complete a Call Transfer. Answering a call Call Transfer One-Touch Transfer DSS Console Press ANSWER. ANSWER You can talk to the caller either with the handset or in the hands-free mode. PT and DSS Console Press TRANSFER. TRANSFER Press the desired DSS button or enter the desired extension number.
