That is, if the p erc entage of setup events for a g iven p ath meets or exc eed s this ad ministered value, then it b ec omes imp aired (see examp le b elow). An alarm is raised ag ainst an ATM-IMP when one or more p aths originating from that ATM-IMP b ec ome imp aired . [ Values 1 to 20, default is 4] Deactivation (%)This field sp ec ifies the perc entag e of setup events for a p ath to come out of the imp aired state. That is, if the p erc entage of setup events for an imp aired p ath meets or d rop s b elow this ad ministered value, then it is no long er imp aired (see examp le b elow). An alarm is retired when no more imp aired p aths are orig inating from that ATM-IMP. [ Values 0 to19, d efault is 3] Timeout (msec)The maximum number of millisec ond s allowed for an SVC connec tion to be comp leted b efore b eing c ounted as d elayed. [ Values 250 to 20,000, d efault is 1000] Deny Calls Using Impaired Paths? This field sp ec ifies whether to d eny calls that use connec tions over imp aired p aths. If the op tion is y, then calls that req uire a new SVC on an impaired p ath on the ac tive PNC are not c omp leted.
