							Manutenzione e Stoccaggio
B1.Durante le operazioni di montaggio, smon-
taggio e affilatura delle lame, indossare sem-
pre guanti protettivi spessi.
B2.Eseguite regolarmente le operazioni di
manutenzione ordinaria. Una manutenzione
regolare è essenziale per garantire sicurezza
e livello di prestazioni della macchina.
Per i lavori di manutenzione straordinaria
rivolgetevi ad un Centro di assistenza auto-
rizzato.
Utilizzate e richiedete solamente ricambi origi-
nali, nel rispetto del progetto della macchina.
Esigete la Sicurezza dei Ricambi Originali.
B3. Inattività della macchina
Per poter disporre in ogni momento di uno
strumento di lavoro efficiente, seguite queste
piccole istruzioni:
–Svuotare il serbatoio carburante della
miscela residua. Le attuali benzine verdi
hanno un tempo di “invecchiamento”
breve, risultando quindi ben presto inutiliz-
zabili.
–Pulire la macchina da residui di legno ed
altro. Verificare la pulizia del filtro aria, dei
condotti di raffreddamento delle alette del
cilindro.
–Lubrificate le lame con olio. In tale manie-
ra si previene la formazione di ruggine.
Montare il coprilame.
–Riponete la macchina in ambiente idoneo;
evitare luoghi umidi, troppo secchi o in
prossimità di fonti di calore.
–Riporre la macchina fuori dalla portata
dei bambini!!
RISPETTATE L’AMBIENTE!!!
Non gettate sul suolo o nelle fognature resi-
dui di carburante e di lubrificante!!
Rivolgetevi ad una stazione di servizio per il
corretto riciclo di lubrificanti e carburanti.
Preparazione della macchina
C1.Fissaggio dell’impugnatura/protezione
anteriore (ove necessario)
La macchina viene fornita con impugnatura
anteriore non pronta all’uso. È necessario
fissare correttamente l’impugnatura anteriore
mediante le apposite viti fornite in dotazione.–Allentare la vite che blocca provvisoria-
mente l’impugnatura.
–Ruotare e posizionare correttamente l’im-
pugnatura in modo che i fori con dadi pre-
senti sull’ impugnatura trovino corrispon-
denza con gli appositi fori presenti sul sup-
porto in alluminio sottostante.
–Inserire la vite fornita in dotazione nel foro
del supporto fino ad incontrare il dado pre-
sente sull’impugnatura.
–Stringere ambedue le viti fino a bloccare
saldamente.
ATTENZIONE
Se non siete certi delle operazioni svolte
rivolgetevi, per la vostra sicurezza, al vostro
rivenditore di fiducia.
VERIFICATE COSTANTEMENTE IL FISSAGGIO
DELL’IMPUGNATURA !!!
C2. Rifornimento carburante
Carburante.
Questa macchina è equipaggiata con un
motore a 2 tempi. E’ necessario quindi impie-
gare una miscela composta da benzina e olio
lubrificane per motori 2T.
ATTENZIONE
Impiegate solo carburanti e lubrificanti di
qualità per mantenere le prestazioni del
motore e garantire la durata degli organi
meccanici.
Impiegate benzina verde (senza piombo)
Olio motore
Impiegate unicamente olio sintetico di ottima
qualità per motori a 2 tempi.
Il vostro rivenditore dispone di olii di otti-
ma qualità appositamente studiati per
garantire una elevata protezione degli
organi meccanici e quindi una lunga effi-
cienza dei motori.
Rivolgetevi presso il vostro rivendito-
re di fiducia.

RIMEDIO
Fare il pieno di miscela.
Metterlo in posizione START.
Disinserire la leva aria e provare ad avvia-
re. Se il motore è ingolfato vedi punto
seguente.
Svitare la candela, asciugarla, tirare alcu-
ne volte la fune di avviamento, riavvitare la
candela.
Pulire il serbatoio con benzina, fare il
pieno con nuova miscela esente da acqua.
Smontare la candela e pulirla con una
spazzola da residui carboniosi. Se neces-
sario sostituirla.
Controllare la distanza tra gli elettrodi con
uno spessimetro e correggere la distanza.
Sostituire la candela con una nuova. Se il
problema persiste rivolgetevi presso la Vs
officina autorizzata.
Pulire il filtro.
Per una regolazione adeguata rivolgersi
ad una officina autorizzata.
Smontare la candela e pulire con una
spazzola da residui carboniosi. Se neces-
sario sostituirla.
Pulire il serbatoio con benzina e fare il
pieno con miscela di recente acquisizione.
Pulire il serbatoio con benzina e fare il
pieno con nuova esente da condensa.
Pulire il tubo di sfiato. Se non è sufficiente,
rivolgersi ad un’officina autorizzata.
Pulire il tubo di sfiato.
Pulire con pennello, acqua calda e sapone
o altro liquido detergente non infiammabi-
le. Lasciare asciugare e rimontare.
Smontare la candela e pulirla con una
spazzola da residui carboniosi. Se neces-
sario sostituirla.
Ruotare la vite min (riferimento A fig.1a e
1b)del carburatore in senso orario. Al
regime minimo le lame non deve muover-
si, il motore deve mantenersi in funzione.PROBLEMACAUSA

							Safety instructions
Each component of the machine may become a
source of potential danger in the event of incorrect
use or poor maintenance.
It is advisable to pay particular attention to the
paragraphs preceded by the following words:WARNING
W arning of the risk of serious personal injury or
even death, in the event of failure to comply with
the instructions.
PRECAUTIONS
W arning of the possible risk of serious personal
injury or damage to material, in the event of failure
to comply with the instructions.
T raining
A1. Read the instructions in this manual care-
fully.
Before using the machine you must become
familiar with the controls and learn how to
stop the engine quickly. You must also learn
how to use it correctly.
A2. Never allow minors or those who are not familiar with the instructions to use the
machine.
A3. Do not use the machine: –when there are bystanders, especially
children or pets, nearby. Always check the
distance of bystanders. The machine must
only be used by one person;
– if the user has taken medication or is
under the influence of alcohol or drugs that
could impair reflexes or visual capacities;
– when fatigued or feeling unwell;
– without safety devices, such as the front
guard (hand guard) or when these devices
are damaged;
– in closed or poorly ventilated areas, to pre-
vent highly toxic carbon monoxide from
accumulating;
A4. Do not adjust the machine This could seriously endanger the operatorís
safety, leading to the risk of accidents and
serious injuries.
A5. Bear in mind that the owner or user is
responsible for accidents or risks to third par-
ties or to their property.
A6. When transporting the machine: –switch off the engine; –
always fit the blade catcher;
– transport the machine holding it only by
the front handle (handrail);
– avoid contact with hot surfaces and espe-
cially with the silencer (danger of burns);
– point the blade to the rear of the direction
in which you are travelling;
– when transporting the machine with a
vehicle, place it where it cannot cause
danger to anyone and fix it securely to pre-
vent it from falling over, leading to possible
damage and fuel spillage (fire hazard); 
– always switch off the machine when
not in use. Do not create sources of
danger either for others or yourself!
A7. Always switch off the engine before filling with fuel.
–Do n ot smoke and keep away from naked
flames.  Danger of fire and serious
burns or death.
– Do not fill when the engine is hot. In this
situation of high temperature, any remai-
ning fuel could spill from the tank and
catch fire.
–T ake care over spraying caused by pres-
sure forming in the tank.  Open the fuel
cap slowly to allow pressure to be
released gradually.
– Always fill in well ventilated places.
– Clean any traces of fuel from the machine
and the place in which filling is carried out.
.  – Prevent fuel from coming into contact with clothing. In the event of contact change
your clothing, as  it is a fire hazard .
– After filling, clamp the fuel cap tightly and
check the seal.  Do not start the machine
if there is any leakage, as this could
cause danger of serious burns.
– Do not start up the machine in the place in
which filling took place.
A8. Clothing. Clothing must be suitable and MUST NOT be
in any way restricting for the user.
–Wear snug-fitting clothing providing pro-
tection against cuts.
–D o not wear scarves, shirts, jewellery or
any hanging or loose accessories that
could become caught in the machine or in
objects and materials present in the work-
place.
–W ear gloves, safety footwear with non-slip
soles and goggles. Use ear protectors to
protect hearing.
– During cutting operations wear the protec-
tive helmet fitted with visor and ear protec-
tors.

Your dealer can provide you with information on
PPE safety material and has high quality items
to offer its customers maximum safety when
working.
A9. Before starting up Before starting to use the machine check the
following:
–the throttle lever and safety lever move
freely, without having to be forced and
when released they return to neutral auto-
matically and quickly.
– It must not be possible to activate the
throttle lever before having released the
safety lever;
– the Stop switch is functioning and easy to
move;
– the electric cables, especially the high vol-
tage cable (spark plug cable) are in good
condition to prevent any sparks that could
cause fuel to ignite. Also check correct
connection between spark plug cap and
spark plug;
– the handles are fixed firmly to the machine
and are clean and dry;
  – blades fitted correctly and undamaged;
– guard / front grip in place and secured cor-
rectly to the machine.
A10. Starting the engine –Rest the machine on the ground holding it
down firmly. The left hand on the front
handle.
– Move the machine at least 3 metres away
from the filling point before starting the
engine.
– Check that there is no-one in the range of
action of the machine. The machine must
only be handled by one person.
– Never start up the machine indoors.
– Never direct the silencer, and hence the
exhaust gases, in the direction of flamma-
ble materials.
– Check the minimum speed of the machi-
ne, which must not allow the blades to
move.
Moreover, after acceleration the engine must
return quickly to the minimum speed when
the throttle is released. If this is not the case
do not start to work, adjust the minimum
speed and solve these problems. (see para-
graph “Setting carburation”).
W arning: checking and adjusting the car-
burettor and the minimum speed is the
only operation performed with the engine
running. A11. When working
When working comply with the following:
–work in daylight. Visibility is essential to
guarantee safety conditions;
– stand in a firm and steady position. Where
possible, avoid working on wet or slippery
ground or ground that is excessively rough
or steep and does not allow the operator
to work in a steady position.
The user is responsible for assessing
potential risks of the working ground
and taking all precautions required to
guarantee personal safety.
– Never work without the front guard fitted.
– Do not use ladders or unstable platforms. 
– Always walk and never run to avoid losing
balance. Always take care over obstacles.
– Pay attention to materials projected by the
action of the blades.  Never operate the
machine with bystanders in the work area.
–T ake care not to knock hard against
foreign bodies; this could damage the cut-
ting parts:  if this occurs, switch off the
machine and check for damage.
– Pay attention to any abnormal noise or
vibrations. If this occurs, switch off the
machine and look for the cause.
Maintenance and Storing
B1. During assembly, disassembly and when
sharpening the blades, always wear thick
protective gloves.
B2. Perform ordinary maintenance operations
regularly. Regular maintenance is essential
both to guarantee safety and the level of per-
formance of the machine.
For special maintenance contact an authori-
zed service centre.
Use and request only original spare parts, to
comply with the design of the machine.
Insist on the Safety of Original Spare Parts.
B3. When not in use To keep the machine efficient at all times, fol-
low these simple instructions:
– Empty any remaining fuel from the tank.
The green fuels currently in use have a
short “ageing” time and are very quickly
unfit for use.
– Clean any wood or the like from the machi-
ne. Check that the air filter, cooling ducts
