Transferring FilesfromaMemory DevicetoYour Computer You cantransfer filestoand from amemory cardorUSB device inserted inyour product andacomputer connected toyour product. Note: Donot transfer filestoand from amemory devicewhileyouareprinting fromorscanning tothe device. 1. Make sureyourproduct isconnected toacomputer. 2. Insert amemory cardorUSB device intoyour product. 3. Doone ofthe following toaccess yourfilesfrom yourcomputer: • Windows :Open theComputer ,My Computer ,Windows Explorer,or File Explorer utility,then select theremovable diskicon. • OS Xwith aUSB connection :Look forthe removable diskicon onyour desktop orcomputer window, thenselect it. • OS Xwith anetwork connection :Select thehard drive icononyour desktop orcomputer window, selectyourproduct inthe SHARED sectionofthe sidebar (youmayneed towiden the sidebar tosee thename), thenselect theMEMORYCARD icon. 4. Select thefolder thatcontains yourfiles. 5. Drag thefiles youwant totransfer tothe desired folderonyour computer oron your memory device. Note: Yourproducts LCDscreen doesnotupdate todisplay newfilestransferred tothe memory device. Replacing InkCartridges andMaintenance Boxes The maintenance boxstores inkthat gets flushed fromthesystem duringprinthead cleaning. Whenan ink cartridge isexpended orthe maintenance boxisat the end ofits service life,you need toreplace it. You may alsoneed toreplace acartridge thatismore thansixmonths oldifyour printouts donot look their best, even aftercleaning andaligning theprint head.
