 To
receive faxesautomatically, makesureReceive Modeisset toAuto (thedefault settingforthe
 product).

change theReceive Modesetting ifnecessary, selectSetup >System Administration >Fax
 Settings
>Receive Settings >Receive Mode.
 If
an answering machineisconnected, makesuretheproducts RingstoAnswer settingisset higher
 than
thenumber ofrings youranswering machineisset toanswer acall. Forexample, ifthe answering
 machine
isset topick uponthe fourth ring,setthe product topick uponthe fifth ring orlater.
