Still experiencing problems, with modem installed and set to the correct COM port.Set up the software. Verify that the PORT field of the DEFAULT Phone Book Entry specifies the same number as the modem COM port. Check the Phone Book entry for accuracy ( e.g., baud rate, or modem type).
