All failure messages are logged in this file. Installing the External Call History Package 2 Overview2Use these procedures to install the External Call History feature package. Prerequisites2lThe customer must have a separate computer for the storage and reporting of call records. lBoth the storage machine and the CMS machine must be administered in UNIX-to-UNIX copy (UUCP). lIf the storage machine is not running the UNIX system, use a DOS version of UUCP. lVerify that you are logged in as root. lThe computer must be in run-level 3 (check this with the command who -r). lAll file systems must be mounted. lCMS must be turned off. Once the External Call History package is installed, you will no longer be able to access any call record data from CMS.
