Stapling is available only if optional finisher is installed. ! Detail Generally, a multiple of 4 document pages is required with a single-sided document, and a multiple of 2 document pages is required with a double- sided document. If there are not enough pages, blank pages are auto- matically added at the end. For details on stapling, refer to “Binding copies at the center” on page 3-59. If the document contains more than 80 pages, refer to “Scanning a doc- ument in separate batches (“Separate Scan” setting)” on page 3-12. The following Image Settings functions are available. To print the distribution number (“Set Numbering” function) 0The distribution number is normally printed as a three-digit number. If “Starting Number” is set to “1”, “001” is printed. 1Position the document to be copied. – For details on positioning the document, refer to “Feeding the doc- ument” on page 3-8.
