    19-20
     Second overflow priority, the priority given to a call overflowing to
    the second overflow group when it enters that group queue;
     Third overflow time, the amount of time that an unanswered call
    can remain in the queues of the main, first, and second ACD
    groups before it begins to ring in the third ACD overflow queue
    as well;
     Third overflow group, the number of the third ACD group, in addi-
    tion to the first three groups, to receive unanswered calls from
    this ACD plan, after the third overflow time has been reached;
     Third overflow priority, the priority given to a call overflowing to
    the third overflow group when it enters that group queue.
    19.10.3 Announcer Plans Screen
    You use this screen to define the parameters for each of the ACD
    announcer plans you specified earlier on the Routing Plans Screen.
    The parameters on the Routing Plans Screen determine how an
    incoming ACD call is answered. Its secondary screen specifies the
    actual recorded announcements that are played while the call is
    waiting.
    The screen informs you of the number of available plan entries. The
    maximum number of Announcer plans is:
    16 for
    unite 128
    24 for
    unite 400
    24 for
    unite 1000
    1. From the Auto. Call Distribution heading, select the Announcer
    Plans  Screen
    The program displays the Announcer Plans C-N Screen.
    Note that the program puts default values in each field for all possi-
    ble plans.
    2. Accept the default values for fields or enter the desired value.
    These fields are:
    Ringback delay: the number of seconds that the caller hears a
    ring tone before the call is transferred to an ACD queue;
    Forced announcement: Whether a preliminary recorded
    announcement will be played in its entirety before an agent
    answers, even if the agent is available earlier;
    Music source: whether callers hear MOH or a ring back tone
    when waiting between announcements;
    Tone on station ring: whether callers hear a tone while the ACD
    station is ringing.

    3. Press the [Save] icon to save your data entry.
    19.10.4 Announcement Program Screen
    You use the Announcement Program Screen to build the desired
    Announcement Program or order of announcements played by each
    of the Announcer Plans, whose parameters you defined in the sec-
    tion above.
    You are able to define a maximum of 50 elements for each
    Announcement Program. The screen informs you of the number of
    available entries. This capacity gives you the ability to alternate
    numerous messages in different orders and with different delay peri-
    ods.
    1. Press the [Edit Units] icon.
    The program displays the Announcement Program Screen.
    2. Press the [Save] icon to save your data entry.
    You use this screen to define the following fields:
    Announcer: whether the announcement comes from an
    announcer DN or is one of the nine recorded announcements;
    Post announcing delay: the time delay before either a specific
    announcement is repeated or the next announcement is played;
    Times: the number of times that you want a specific announce-
    ment repeated.
    19.11 PABX/CENTREX
    The Automated attendant External call forward feature makes provi-
    sion for mailbox subscribers who wish to have incoming calls for-
    warded to a PABX/CENTREX extension.
    First define the trunk groups or trunks as accessing Centrex or
    PABX. Do this by entering CN or PB in the Trunk Flash parameter
    on the:
     Private Trunk Features P-T Screen, or
     Regular/HP Group Features Screen.
    Once the trunk flash feature of the trunk groups or trunks serving
    emaGEN has been defined as accessing Centrex or PABX, the
    corresponding system timers must also be set.
    19.11.1  System Timers Screen
    Depending on whether your system accesses external lines config-
    ured behind Centrex or a PABX, you need to set the appropriate
    system timer.

    19-22
    1. From the System Parameters heading, select the System Timers
    Screen.
    The program displays the System Timers S-T Screen.
    2. Set the Centrex or PABX Flash timer to 0.30 seconds, as appro-
    priate.
    3. Press the [Save] icon to save your data entry.
    19.12IMPLEMENTING A NETWORKED emaGEN SYSTEM
    Networked unite systems can share a common emaGEN system.
    This requires a few differences in the
    unite system configuration
    programming at the networked exchanges.
    19.12.1 IVM hunt group in a network
    Each exchange is part of a network, having one emaGEN system
    connected to one of the branches of the network. (For this configu-
    ration, it is recommended to allocate several trunks to
    emaGEN on
    a T1 line).
    You can program the system so that extensions in any branch of the
    network can access
    emaGEN. At each branch, you will program
    two screens, apart from the IVM Hunt Group Screen, and possibly a
    third, if different tenants are sharing the
    emaGEN services:
     Network Prefixes N-P
     System Speed Dial Numbers S-S-N.
     Attendant Definition A-A for tenants sharing an
    emaGEN sys-
    tem.
    In the Network Prefixes Screen enter the prefix of the branch of the
    network to which
    emaGEN is connected and that branch’s Route
    number.
    Alternately, you can choose to use the IVM hunt group DN (see next
    paragraph) itself as the prefix, with the proper route number to the
    branch of the network to which IVM is connected.
    In the IVM Hunt Group Screen in the IVM Hunt Group DN parame-
    ter, enter the number of the System speed dial bin that accesses
    emaGEN.

    							Section 19: eManager PROGRAMMING FOR emaGEN IN unite SYSTEMS
    19-23
    NOTE
    This is represented by a number such as
    S1:302, where 1 is the number of the sys-
    tem speed dial table and 302 is the number
    of the bin. Note that you cannot access
    emaGEN using a different speed dial bin
    programmed with the same contents. Only
    the speed dial bin specified in the IVM Hunt
    Group Screen accesses IVM.
    In the System Speed Dial Numbers S-S-N Screen in the Pro-
    grammed Number parameter, enter the digits of the prefix of the
    branch of the network to which
    emaGEN is connected, immedi-
    ately followed by the DN of the IVM hunt group.
    If you chose the option of making the IVM hunt group DN the prefix
    of the network branch, then you need only enter the IVM hunt group
    DN. No other prefix is necessary.
    If there are tenants sharing the
    emaGEN services, a distinction
    must be made between the respective extensions of each tenant.
    This is accomplished via the Attendant Definition A-A Screen,
    where you enter the prefix of the branch of the network to which
    emaGEN is connected in the last column: PBX Number.
    NOTE
    DID Routing to IVM Hunt Group in a Net-
    work This configuration also allows you to
    route DID calls to the IVM hunt group in
    another branch of the network. After pro-
    gramming the screens described above,
    you program the DID Routing R Screen to
    allow callers on DID lines to be routed to
    emaGEN. Enter ‘S’ and the number of the
    specific system speed dial bin that you
    used for accessing
    emaGEN in the Day
    Routing or Night Routing parameter.
