    2 Pre\faring \fresentation materia\uls
    1.	 Create	your	presentation	\faterials	and	save	the\f	in	a	supported	file	for\fat	to	your	co\fputer.
    2.	 Save	a	file	to	your	drive.
     To save a file to your USB memory:
      Use the Wi\bdows Explore to \fopy the file to your USB memory.
      To pla\fe a file i\b a shared folder you \freate i\b your \fomputer, see page 70.
      To use “Media Shari\bg” i\b Wi\bdows Media Player 11, see page 74.

    3 Projecting images st\uored in a USB memory device
    This	section	explains	the	basic	ope\fation	o\b	the	Viewe\f.
    The	explanation	p\fovides	the	ope\fational	p\focedu\fe	when	the	 Viewe\f	toolba\f	is	set	to	the	\bacto\fy	de\bault.
    P\fepa\fation: 	Be\bo\fe	sta\fting	the	 Viewe\f,	sto\fe	images	to	the	USB	memo\fy	using	you\f	compute\f.
    Starting the Viewer\u
    1.	 Turn	on	the	projector. 	(→	page	14)
    2.	 Insert	 the	USB	 \fe\fory	 into	the	USB	 port	of	the	 projec-
    tor.
    NOTE:
    •  D\b n\bt rem\b\fe the USB mem\bry fr\bm the pr\bject\br while it’s LED 
    flashes. D\bing s\b may\y c\brrupt the data.
    TIP:
    Y\bu can a USB mem\bry insert the pr\bject\br when the dri\fe list screen 
    is displayed.
    3.	 Press	the	Input	\button	to	select	[VIEWER].
      A  press  of  the  I\bput  butto\b  will  display  the  sour\fe  sele\ft 
    s\free\b.
      A few more presses of the I\bput butto\b will display the drive 
    list s\free\b.
      A\bother way to sele\ft [VIEWER] is to press the Viewer but-
    to\b o\b the remote \fo\btrol.
    TIP:
    •  F\br m\bre inf\brmati\bn\y ab\but the dri\fe li\yst screen, see page\y 62.
    •  T\b display graphics in a shared f\blder, see page  70; t\b display still

    4.	 Press	the		\button	 to	select	 “USB1” 	and	 press	 the	Enter	
    \button.
      The “USB1” thumb\bail s\free\b will be displayed.
    TIP:
    •  F\br m\bre inf\brmati\bn\y ab\but thumbnail sc\yreen, see page 64.
    5.	 Use	the		or		\button	to	select	an	icon. • The  →  (arrow)  symbol  o\b  the  right  i\bdi\fates  there  are 
    more pages. pressi\bg the Page   (page dow\b) butto\b 
    will show the \bext page: pressi\bg the Page   (page up) 
    will show the previous page.
    6.	 Press	the	Enter	\button.
      Operatio\b varies depe\bdi\bg o\b the s\eele\fted file.
    	 •	Still	i\fage
      The sele\fted slide will be displ\eayed.
      The    or    butto\b  \fa\b  be  used  to  sele\ft  the  \bext  (right) 
    slide or the previous (left) slide i\b the thum\eb\bail s\free\b.
    •  Pressi\bg the E\bter butto\b will display the \fo\btrol bar with 
    whi\fh is used to sele\ft or rotate a\b slide.(→ page 65)

    	 •	Movie	file
     The movie file will start playi\bg.
      After  fi\bishi\bg  the  playba\fk,  the  s\free\b  will  tur\b  to  bla\fk. 
    Press the Ba\fk butto\b to retur\b to the thumb\bail s\free\b.
    • Pressi\bg the E\bter butto\b will display the movie’s \fo\btrol 
    bar with whi\fh you \fa\b pause or fastforward a\bd some 
    other operatio\bs.
    7.	 Re\fove	the	USB	\fe\fory	fro\f	the	projector.
      Retur\b to the drive list s\free\b. Make sure that the LED o\b 
    the USB memory is \bot flashi\bg before removi\bg the USB 
    memory.
    NOTE: If y\bu rem\b\fe the USB mem\bry fr\bm the pr\bject\br with a slide 
    displayed,  the  pr\bject\br  may  n\bt  \bperate  c\brrectly.  If  this  happens, 
    turn \bff the pr\bject\br and unplug the p\bwer c\brd. Wait 3 minutes, then 
    c\bnnect the p\bwer c\b\yrd, and turn \bn the\y pr\bject\br.
    Exiting the Viewer
    1.	 Press 	the 	Input 	\button 	to 	select 	a 	source 	other 	than	
    [VIEWER].
      A  press  of  the  I\bput  butto\b  will  display  the  sour\fe  sele\ft 
    s\free\b.
      A few more presses of the I\bput butto\b will display a\bother 
    sour\fe.
    • To  exit  the  Viewer  usi\bg  the  remote  \fo\btrol,  sele\ft  a 
    sour\fe other tha\b [VIEWER\e].

    The	Viewe\f	has	th\fee	sc\feens: 	D\five	list	sc\feen,	Thumbnail	sc\feen,	and	Slide	sc\feen.

    Displays	a	list	o\b	d\fives	connected	to	the	p\fojecto\f.
    Menu	ope\fation
    •	 Use	 the		or	 	\button	 to	\fove	 the	cursor	 up	or	down. 	Select	 the	\fenu	 ite\f	and	press	 the	Enter	 \button	 to	
    display	the	su\b\fenu.
    Ope\fation	\bo\f	D\five	list	sc\feen
    1.	 Press	the		\button	to	\fove	the	cursor	to	the	drive	list. 	
      (Use the  or  butto\b to swit\fh betwee\b the me\bu a\bd the dri\eve list.)
      Press  the    or   butto\b  to  sele\ft  a  type  of  drive;  press  the    or   butto\b  to  sele\ft  the  drive  \fo\b\be\fted  to  the 
    proje\ftor.
    2.	 Select	the	drive	and	press	the	Enter	\button	to	switch	to	the	thu\f\bnail	screen	of	the	selected	drive.

    •	 Use	 the		or	 	\button	 to	\fove	 the	cursor	 up	or	down. 	Select	 the	\fenu	 ite\f	and	press	 the	Enter	 \button	 to	
    display	the	\fenu	or	setting	screen.

    1.	 Press	the		\button	to	\fove	the	cursor	to	the	thu\f\bnail	screen	when	the	OPTIONS	\fenu	is	not	displayed.
    2.	 Press	the	, 	,	,	or		\button	to	select	a	file	or	folder.
    3.	 Press	 the	Enter	 \button	 to	start	 slideshow	 or	play\back	 of	the	 selected	 file.	Selecting	 a	folder	 will	display	 its	
    thu\f\bnail	screen.

    Sc\foll	ba\f Thumbnail	sc\feen	will	display	 12	files	 with	 4	by	 3.	I\b	 the	 thumbnail	 sc\feen	has	twelve	
    o\f	 mo\fe	 files	o\f	\bolde\fs,	 the	sc\foll	 ba\f	will	be	displayed	 at	the	 \fight	 side.	Using	 the	Page	
    	o\f	Page		button	will	sc\foll	the	whole	sc\feen	down	o\f	up.

    •	 The	cont\fol	ba\f	will	be	displayed	only	when	a	still	image	and	a	movie	file	is	selected.
    •	 The	cont\fol	ba\f	\bo\f	still	images	di\b\be\fs	\b\fom	that	\bo\f	movie	files.
    1.	 Pressing	the	Enter	\button	in	Slide	screen	will	display	the	control	\bar	at	the	\botto\f	of	the	screen.
    2.	 Use	the		or		\button	to	select	a	file	and	press	the	Enter	\button.
    • The sele\fted fu\b\ftio\b will be exe\futed.

    PREVGoes	back	to	the	p\fevious	image
    PLAYPlays	the	image. 	This	button	also	is	used	to	stop	o\f	sta\ft	playing	an	image.

    LEFTRotates	the	image	90°	counte\f	clockwise.

    BEST	FIT Displays	the	image	 with	its	aspect	 \fatio	in	the	 p\fojecto\f’s	 displayable
