    PIP/PBP	SOURCE:This	option	allows	you	to	select	a	sub	pictu\fe	signal.
    The	options	a\fe: 	OFF,	VIDEO	and	S-VIDEO.
    Selecting	[OFF]	will	cancel	the	PIP/PICTURE	BY	PICTURE	mode	and	\fetu\fn	to	the	no\fmal	sc\feen.
    Using the Wall C\fl\f\b C\f\b\becti\fn [WALL COLOR CORRECTION]
    	
    This	\bunction	allows	\bo\f	quick	adaptive	colo\f	co\f\fection	in	applications	whe\fe	the	sc\feen	mate\fial	is	not	white.
    NOTE: Selecting [WH\yITEBOARD] reduces l\yamp brightness.
    Setting Ec\f M\fde [LAMP \vPOWER]
    The	ECO	MODE	inc\feases	lamp	li\be,	while	lowe\fing	powe\f	consumption	and	cutting	down	on	CO2	emissions. 	
    Two	b\fightness	modes	o\b	the	lamp	can	be	selected: 	[STND.]	and	[ECO]	modes.

    This	 option	 sets	seve\fal	 closed	caption	 modes	that	allow	 text	to	be	 supe\fimposed	 on	the	 p\fojected	 image	o\b	Video

    Using Off Time\b [OFF TIMER]
    1.	 Select	your	desired	ti\fe	\between	30	\finutes	and	16	hours: 	OFF,	0:30, 	1:00, 	2:00,	4:00,	8:00,	12:00, 	16:00.
    2.	 Press	the	Enter	\button	on	the	re\fote	control.
    3.	 The	re\faining	ti\fe	starts	counting	down.
    4.	 The	projector	will	turn	off	after	the	countdown	is	co\fplete.
    NOTE:
    •  T\b cancel the preset\y time, set [OFF] f\y\br the preset time \y\br turn \bff the p\bwe\yr.
    •  When the remaining time reaches 3 minutes bef\bre the pr\bject\br is turned \bff, the [THE PROJECTOR WILL TURN OFF WITHIN 3 
    MINUTES.] message w\yill be displayed \bn \ythe b\btt\bm \bf the sc\yreen.
    Selecting Menu Language [LANGUAGE] 
    You	can	choose	one	o\b	17	languages	\bo\f	on-sc\feen	inst\fuctions.

    [MENU]
    Selecting Menu C\fl\f\b [COLOR SELECT]
    You	can	choose	between	two	options	\bo\f	menu	colo\f: 	COLOR	and	MONOCHROME.
    Tu\bning On / Off S\fu\bce Display [SOURCE DISPLAY]
    This	option	 tu\fns	on	o\f	o\b\b	 input	 name	 display	 such	as	COMPUTER1,	 COMPUTER2,	COMPUTER3,	HDMI,	Display -
    Po\ft,	 VIDEO,	S-VIDEO,	 VIEWER,	NETWORK	to	be	displayed	on	the	top	\fight	o\b	the	sc\feen.
    Tu\bning messages \fn and \fff [MESSAGE DISPLAY]
    This	option	selects	whethe\f	o\f	not	to	display	p\fojecto\f	messages	at	the	bottom	o\b	the	p\fojected	image.
    Even	when	 “OFF”	is	 selected,	 the	secu\fity	 lock	wa\fning	 is	displayed. 	The	 secu\fity	 lock	wa\fning	 tu\fns	o\b\b	when	 the	
    secu\fity	lock	is	canceled.
    Tu\bning ON/OFF C\fnt\b\fl ID [ID DISPLAY]
    ID DISPLAY  �����������Thi\f option turn\f on or off the ID number which i\f di\fplayed when the ID Set button on the remote control

    Tu\bning On / Off Ec\f Message [ECO MESSAGE]
    This	option	tu\fns	on	o\f	o\b\b	the	\bollowing	messages	when	the	p\fojecto\f	is	tu\fned	on. 	
    The	 Eco	Message	 p\fompts	the	use\f	 to	save	 ene\fgy. 	When	 [STND.]	 is	selected	 \bo\f	[LAMP	 POWER],	 you	will	get	 a	
    message	to	p\fompt	you	to	select	[ECO]	\bo\f	[LAMP	POWER].
    When	[ECO]	is	selected	\bo\f	[LAMP	POWER]
    To	 close	 the	message,	 p\fess	any	one	 o\b	the	 buttons. 	The	message	 will	disappea\f	 i\b	no	 button	 ope\fation	 is	done	 \bo\f

    Selecting Menu Display Time [DISPLAY TIME]
    This	 option	 allows	 you	to	select	 how	long	 the	p\fojecto\f	 waits	a\bte\f	the	last	 touch	 o\b	a	button	 to	tu\fn	 o\b\b	the	 menu. 	The	
    p\feset	 choices	 a\fe	[MANUAL],	 [AUTO	5	SEC],	 [AUTO	 15	SEC],	 and	[AUTO	 45	SEC]. 	The	 [AUTO	 45	SEC]	 is	the	 \bac-
    to\fy	p\feset.
    Selecting a C\fl\f\b \f\b L\v\fg\f f\f\b Backg\b\fund [BACKGROUND ON NOSIGNAL]
    Use	 this	\beatu\fe	 to	display	 a	blue/black	 sc\feen	o\f	logo	 when	 no	signal	 is	available. 	The	 de\bault	 backg\found	 is	[BLUE].
    NOTE: 
    •  E\fen when the backgr\bund l\bg\b is selected, if tw\b pictures are displayed in [PIP/PICTURE BY PICTURE] m\bde, the blue backgr\bund 
    is displayed with\but\y the l\bg\b when there\y is n\b signal.
    Selecting Inte\bval Time f\f\b Filte\b Message [FILTER MESSAGE]
    This	 option	 allows	 you	to	select	 the	time	 p\fe\be\fence	 between	displaying	 the	message	 \bo\f	cleaning	 the	filte\fs. 	Clean	 the	
    filte\f	when	you	get	the	message	 “PLEASE	CLEAN	FILTER.”	(→	page	152)
    Five	options	a\fe	available: 	OFF,	100[H],	500[H],	1000[H],	2000[H]
    The	de\bault	setting	is	[OFF].

    This	 \feo\fients	 you\f	image	 \bo\f	you\f	 type	o\b	p\fojection. 	The	 options	 a\fe:	desktop	 \b\font	p\fojection,	 ceiling	\fea\f	p\fojection,	
    desktop	\fea\f	p\fojection,	and	ceiling	\b\font	p\fojection.
    This 	p\fojecto\f 	is 	a 	\b\fee-tilt 	p\fojecto\f 	with 	which 	it 	is 	possible 	to 	p\foject 	images 	on 	the 	ceiling 	(upwa\fd) 	o\f 	floo\f 	(downwa\fd). 	
    When	installed	in	the	ve\ftical	di\fection,	set	the	[FAN	MODE]	installation	o\fientation. 	(→	page	105)

    NOTE:
    •  The [KEYSTONE] and\y [CORNERSTONE] adj\yustments are n\bt a\f\yailable when ge\bmet\yric data is applied\y.
    •  T\b clear y\bur ge\bmetri\yc data, press the K\yeyst\bne butt\bn f\br a\y minimum \bf 2 sec\bn\yds.
    •  The [GEOMETRIC CORRECTION] feature can cause an image t\b be slightly blurred because the c\brrecti\bn is made electr\bnically.

    This	\beatu\fe	allows	you	to	match	hue	o\b	images	p\fojected	\b\fom	multiple	p\fojecto\fs	that	a\fe	placed	in	pa\fallel.

    Adjusting
    1.  Prepare bla\fk a\bd white images so that the images \fa\b be displayed o\b the \fomputer s\free\b.
    2.  Display the bla\fk image o\b the \fomputer s\free\b, a\bd proje\ft the image from the proje\ftor.
    3.  Sele\ft [MULTI-SCREEN COMP.] → [MODE] → [ON].
    4.  Adjust the dark part of the images.
      Press the  butto\b to sele\ft [BRIGHTNESS\e] a\bd use the  or  to mat\fh the bla\fk part of a\bother proje\ftor.
    5.  Display the white s\free\b o\b the \fomputer s\free\b.
      Proje\ft the image from two or more proje\ftors.
    6.  Adjust the bright par\et of the images.
      Press the  butto\b to sele\ft [CONTRAST] a\bd use the  or  to mat\fh the white part of a\bother proje\ftor.
      Movi\bg the slide bar toward [+] (plus) \fa\b \fha\bge the white part of the image. Should this happe\b, move the 
    slide bar toward [−] (mi\bus) to adjust the bright\be\ess.
    TIP:
    •  When y\bu use multiple pr\bject\brs, y\bu can use the [CONTROL ID] functi\bn t\b \bperate a single pr\bject\br \br all the pr\bject\brs fr\bm 
    the rem\bte c\bntr\bl. \y(→ page 103)

    [REF. WHITE BALANCE]
    This	\beatu\fe	allows	you	to	adjust	the	white	balance	\bo\f	all	signals.
    The	white	and	black	levels	o\b	the	signal	a\fe	adjusted	\bo\f	optimum	colo\f	\fep\foduction.
    Uni\bo\fmity	 is	also	 adjusted	 when	the	\fedness	 (R)	and	 blueness	 (B)	o\b	the	 white	 colo\f	in	the	 sc\feen’s	 ho\fizontal	 (le\bt/
    \fight)	di\fection	a\fe	uneven.

    Disabling the Cabinet Bu\vtt\fns [CONTROL PANEL LOCK]
    This	option	tu\fns	on	o\f	o\b\b	the	CONTROL	PANEL	LOCK	\bunction.
    NOTE:
    • This CONTROL PANEL LOCK d\bes n\bt a\yffect the rem\bte c\b\yntr\bl functi\bns.
    •  When the c\bntr\bl panel is l\bcked, pressing and h\blding the Back butt\bn \bn the pr\bject\br cabinet f\br ab\but 10 sec\bnds will change 
    the setting t\b [OFF\y].
    TIP: When the [CONTROL PANEL LOCK] is turned \bn, a CONTROL PANEL LOCK ic\bn [ 
     ] will be displayed at the b\btt\bm right 
    \bf the menu.
    Enabling Secu\bity [SECURITY]
    This	\beatu\fe	tu\fns	on	o\f	o\b\b	the	SECURITY	\bunction.
    Unless	the	co\f\fect	keywo\fd	is	ente\fed,	the	p\fojecto\f	cannot	p\foject	an	image. 	(→	page	37)

    Selecting C\fmmunicati\fn Speed [COM\vMUNICATION SPEED]
    This	 \beatu\fe	 sets	the	baud	 \fate	o\b	the	 PC	Cont\fol	 po\ft	(D-Sub	 9P).	It	 suppo\fts	 data	\fates	 \b\fom	4800	 to	115200	 bps.	The	
    de\bault 	is 	9600 	bps. 	Select 	the 	app\fop\fiate 	baud 	\fate 	\bo\f 	you\f 	equipment 	to 	be 	connected 	(depending 	on 	the 	equipment,	
    a	lowe\f	baud	\fate	may	be	\fecommended	\bo\f	long	cable	\funs).
    NOTE:
    •  Select [38400bps] \b\yr less when using t\yhe supplied s\bftware\y pr\bgrams.
    •  Y\bur selected c\bmmun\yicati\bn speed will \yn\bt be affected e\fe\yn when [RESET] is \yd\bne fr\bm the menu.\y
    Tu\bning On \f\b Off Rem\fte Sens\f\b [REMOTE SENSOR]
    This	option	dete\fmines	which	\femote	senso\f	on	the	p\fojecto\f	is	enabled	in	wi\feless	mode.
    The	options	a\fe: 	FRONT/BACK,	FRONT,	and	BACK. 	
    I\b	the	\femote	cont\fol	system	does	not	\bunction	when	di\fect	sunlight	o\f
    st\fong	illumination	st\fikes	the	\femote	cont\fol	senso\f	o\b	the	p\fojecto\f,	change	anothe\f	option.
    Setting ID t\f the P\b\fject\f\b [CONTROL ID]
    You 	can 	ope\fate 	multiple 	p\fojecto\fs 	sepa\fately 	and 	independently 	with 	the 	single 	\femote 	cont\fol 	that 	has 	the 	CONTROL	
    ID	 \bunction. 	I\b	 you	 assign	 the	same	 ID	to	all	 the	 p\fojecto\fs,	 you	can	 conveniently	 ope\fate	all	the	 p\fojecto\fs	 togethe\f	
    using	the	single	\femote	cont\fol. 	To	do	so,	you	have	to	assign	an	ID	numbe\f	to	each	p\fojecto\f.

    NOTE:

    the CONTROL ID fun\ycti\bn. (In this cas\ye the butt\bns \bn th\ye pr\bject\br cabinet \ycan be used.)
    •  Y\bur setting will n\bt\y be affected e\fen w\yhen [RESET] is d\bne\y fr\bm the menu.
    •   Pressing and h\blding the Enter butt\bn \bn the pr\bject\br cabinet f\br 10 sec\bnds will display the menu f\br canceling the C\bntr\bl ID.
    Assigning \f\b Changin\vg the C\fnt\b\fl ID
    1.	 Turn	on	the	projector.
    2.	 Press	the	ID	Set	\button	on	the	re\fote	control.
      The CONTROL ID s\free\b will be displayed.
     If the proje\ftor \fa\b be operated with the \furre\bt remote \fo\btrol ID, the [ACTIVE] will 
    be displayed. If the proje\ftor \fa\b\bot be operated with the \furre\bt remote \fo\btrol 
    ID, the [INACTIVE] will be displayed. To operate the i\ba\ftive proje\ftor, assig\b the 
    \fo\btrol ID used for the proje\ftor by usi\bg the followi\bg pro\fedure (Step 3).
    3.	 Press	 one	of	nu\feric	 keypad	\buttons	 while	pressing	 and	holding	 the	ID	Set	
    \button	on	the	re\fote	control.
      Exa\fple:
      To assig\b “3”, press the “3” butto\b o\b the remote \fo\btrol.
      No ID mea\bs that all the proje\ftors \fa\b be operated together with a si\bgle remote 
    \fo\btrol. To set “No ID”, e\bter “000” or press the Clear butto\b.
    TIP: The range \bf I\yDs is fr\bm 1 t\b 254\y.
    4.	 Release	the	ID	Set	\button.
      The updated CONTROL ID s\free\b will be displayed.
    NOTE: 
    •   The IDs can be cle\yared in a few days \yafter the batterie\ys are run d\bwn \br rem\b\fed.
    •   Accidentally pressing any \bne \bf the butt\bns \bf the rem\bte c\bntr\bl will clear currently specified 
    ID with batteries \yrem\b\fed.

    [OPTIONS(1)]
    Setting Aut\f Adjust [AUTO SET]
    This	 \beatu\fe	 sets	the	Auto	 Adjust	 mode	so	that	 the	compute\f	 signal	can	be	automatically	 o\f	manually	 adjusted	\bo\f	noise	
    and	stability. 	You	can	automatically	make	adjustment	in	two	ways: 	[NORMAL]	and	[FINE].

    Selecting Fan M\fde [FAN MODE]
    Fan	Mode	is	used	to	set	the	speed	o\b	the	inte\fnal	cooling	\ban.

    Selecting P\fwe\b-saving in [STANDBY MODE]
    The	p\fojecto\f	has	th\fee	standby	modes:	[NORMAL],	[POWER-SAVING]	and	[NETWORK	STANDBY].
    The	 POWER-SAVING	 mode	is	the	 mode	 that	allows	 you	to	put	 the	p\fojecto\f	 in	the	 powe\f-saving	 condition	which	
    consumes	less	powe\f	than	the	NORMAL	mode. 	The	p\fojecto\f	is	p\feset	\bo\f	NORMAL	mode	at	the	\bacto\fy.

    Enabling Di\bect P\fwe\b On [POWER ON METHOD]
    Tu\fns	 the	p\fojecto\f	 on	automatically	 when	the	powe\f	 co\fd	is	inse\fted	 into	an	active	 powe\f	 outlet.	This	 eliminates	 the	
    need	to	always	use	the	Powe\f	button	on	the	\femote	cont\fol	o\f	p\fojecto\f	cabinet.
