Then, by ope\fating the keyboa\fd, you can ope\fate Windows 7, Windows Vista o\f Windows XP on the PC connected with the netwo\fk. • With the Remote Desktop \bunction, you can \femotely ope\fate the PC placed at a distance \b\fom the p\fojecto\f. Click [Start] fro\f the desktop of Windows 7. 2. Click [Control Panel]. 3. Click [Syste\f and Security]. 4. Click [Allow re\fote access] displayed under [Syste\f]. 5. When the [User Account Control] confir\fation window appears, click [Yes]. The [System Properties] wi\bdow appears. 6. Click [Allow connections fro\f co\fputers running any version of Re\fote Desktop (less secure)] in the Re\fote Desktop \box and click [OK]. Checking the IP add\bess \fn Wind\fws 7 1. Click [Start] fro\f the desktop of Windows 7. 2. Click [Control Panel]. 3. Click [View network status and tasks] displayed under [Network and Internet].

Click [Details...]. Write dow\b the value for “IPv4 Address” (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)\e displayed. 6. Click [Close]. 7. Click [X] at the upper right of the window. The system goes ba\fk to the desktop. Sta\bting the Rem\fte Deskt\fp 1. With the projector turned on, press the Input \button. The i\bput sele\ftio\b wi\b\edow appears. A\bother way to display the i\bput sele\ftio\b wi\bdow is to press the Network butto\b o\b the remote \fo\btrol. The NET - WORK s\free\b will be displayed. Go to step 3.

Operate the wireless key\board to input the IP address of Windows 7 and click “CONNECTION”. The log-o\b s\free\b of Wi\bdows 7 is displayed i\b the s\free\b proje\fted by the proje\ftor. 5. Operate the wireless key\board to input the user’s password and press “Enter”. The remote desktop fu\b\ftio\b is started. Wi\bdows 7 desktop is displayed i\b the s\free\b proje\fted by the proje\ftor. Log out the \fomputer. Use the wireless keyboard \fo\b\be\fted to the proje\ftor to operate Wi\bdows 7. NOTE: When the pr\bjecti\bn is made with the rem\bte deskt\bp functi\bn, the backgr\bund c\bl\br \bf the deskt\bp is changed t\b black.

Whe\b usi\bg the remote \fo\btrol, press a butto\b other tha\b the Network butto\b. TIP: Setting [ADVANCED] in REMOTE DE\ySKTOP Clicking [ADVANCED] displays the \y[ADVANCED] screen. Making settings t\b [ADVANCED] will all\bw y\bu t\b display the deskt\bp backgr\bund, \br t\b enable the wind\bw animati\bn functi\bn during the Rem\bte Deskt\bp \b\yperati\bn. H\bwe\fer, d\bing this will c\yause the display’s \br m\buse’s resp\bnse t\b sl\bw d\y\bwn. If the display’s \br m\buse’s resp\bnse is sl\bwed\y d\bwn, try \bne \br m\bre \bf the \yf\bll\bwing: DESKTOP BACKGROUND: Clea\f the check ma\fk to display the desktop backg\found in monoch\fome. MENU AND WINDOW ANIMATION: Clea\f the check ma\fk to disable menu and window animation. THEMES: Clea\f the check ma\fk not to use Themes. Using the Viewer\u 1 What you can do wit\uh the Viewer The Viewe\f \beatu\fe allows you to view slides o\f movie files sto\fed on a USB memo\fy on the p\fojecto\f, o\f a sha\fed \bolde\f in a compute\f connected to the netwo\fk. The Viewe\f has the \bollowing \beatu\fes. • When a comme\fcially available USB memo\fy that sto\fes image files is inse\fted into the USB po\ft (Type A) o\b the p\fojecto\f, the Viewe\f allows you to view the image files on the USB memo\fy. Even i\b no compute\f is available, p\fesentations can be conducted simply with the p\fojecto\f. • Movie file with audio can be played back. • Image and movie files sto\fed in a sha\fed \bolde\f in a compute\f connected to a netwo\fk can be p\fojected. The compute\f with “Media Sha\fing” o\b Windows Media Playe\f 11 tu\fned on can be used as a media se\fve\f. In Wind\bws Media Player 11 (Wind\bws XP/ Wind\bws Vista) mp4 \yfiles cann\bt be playe\yd back. Supp\f\bted USB mem\f\by devices - Be su\fe to use a USB memo\fy device \bo\fmatted with the FAT, exFAT, FAT32 o\f FAT16 file system. The p\fojecto\f does not suppo\ft NTFS \bo\fmatted USB memo\fy.
