Setting for wired/wireless network (NETWORK SETTINGS) To use wireless LAN \fo\b\be\ftio\b, the optio\bal USB Wireless LAN U\bit is required. (→ page 148) To use wired/wireless LAN \fo\b\be\ftio\b, \fo\b\be\ft the proje\ftor to the \fomputer with a \fommer\fially available LAN \fable. (→ page 147) 2. Setting Alert Mail (ALERT MAIL) Whe\b the proje\ftor is \fo\b\be\fted to a wired/wireless \betwork, lamp repla\fe time or error messages will be se\bt via e-mail. 3. Configure the settings such as PJLink PASSWORD Two ways o\b access to the HTTP se\fve\f \bunction a\fe available: • Start the We\b \browser on the co\fputer via the network connected to the projector and enter the following URL : http:// /index.ht\fl • Use Advanced Network Utility contained on the supplied CD-ROM. (→ page 147) Ope\fation with a b\fowse\f that uses a p\foxy se\fve\f may not be possible depending on the type o\b p\foxy se\fve\f and the setting method. Although the type o\b p\foxy se\fve\f will be a \bacto\f, it is possible that items that have actually been set will not be displayed depending on the e\b\bectiveness o\b the cache, and the contents set \b\fom the b\fowse\f may not be \feflected in ope\fation. It is \fecommended that a p\foxy se\fve\f not be used unless it is unavoidable.

Convenient Feat\uures Projecting Your Com\futer’s Screen Image from the Projector via a Network [NETWO\uRK PROJECTOR] By selecting the p\fojecto\f connected to the same netwo\fk as that o\b you\f PC, the PC sc\feen image can be p\fojected to the sc\feen via netwo\fk. The\fe is no need o\b connection using the compute\f cable (VGA).
