Note: Youcanonly send faxes inblack-and-white whenyouusethisoption. 1. Place youroriginal onthe product forfaxing. 2. Press the Faxbutton. 3. Press the Menubutton, presstheupordown arrow buttons toselect Broadcast Fax,and press the OK button. 4. Dothe following asnecessary: • Use thenumeric keypadtomanually enterfaxnumbers. Pressthedown arrow button toadd additional faxnumbers. • To select aspeed orgroup dialentry, pressthe Menubutton. Usetheupand down arrows to highlight anentry, theright arrow button toselect anentry, andtheleftarrow button todeselect an entry. 5. Setting Options Description Quality Standard Provides goodscanresolution andprint quality for most faxes. Fine Provides bestscan resolution andprint quality for faxes ofsmall printandlineart. Photo Provides bestscan resolution andprint quality for faxed photos. Contrast – 4 to +4 Adjusts thecontrast forfaxes; negative settingsmake faxes lighter andpositive settings makefaxesdarker. Forexample, ifthe answering machine isset topick uponthe fourth ring,setthe product topick uponthe fifth ring orlater. If a telephone isconnected, andyouuseitto answer acall that turns outtobe afax, wait until the products LCDscreen displays amessage thataconnection hasbeen made before hanging up.
