Printing photos from a camera119 14 Understanding the Error Messages 14 Once you are familiar with the types of errors that can occur while you are printing from a camera, you can easily identify and troubleshoot any problems.„ Out of Memory This message will appear if you are working with images that are too large for the machines memory. „ Unusable Device This message will appear if you connect a camera which is not using the USB Mass Storage standard. This message will also appear if you connect a broken device to the USB direct interface. (For more detailed solutions see Error and Maintenance messages on page 150.)
120 15 Printing photos with Bluetooth ® wireless technology 15 Your Brother machine supports Bluetooth® wireless technology for printing photos. Bluetooth ® wireless technology enables short range wireless communication between your machine and Bluetooth ® wireless technology enabled devices for printing photos. The requirements for using Bluetooth ® wireless technology15 To avoid errors, remember the following points: „ The image file extension must be .JPG (other image file extensions such as .JPEG, .TIF and .GIF and so on will not be recognized). „ The size of the image file must be no larger than 3 MB. „ Your machine is a Class 2 device and the communication range is between 0 to 33 feet. You cannot print outside this range. You can print photos only when the indicator is illuminated in blue. 128 A Choosing a locationA Put your machine on a flat, stable surface that is free of vibration and shocks, such as a desk. Put the machine near a telephone socket and a standard grounded electrical socket. Choose a location where the temperature remains between 10°C and 35° C. WARNING DO NOT put the machine near heaters, air conditioners, refrigerators, medical equipment, chemicals or water. DO NOT connect your machine to electrical sockets on the same circuit as large appliances or other equipment that might disrupt the power supply. CAUTION • Avoid placing your machine in a high-traffic area. • Avoid placing your machine on a carpet. • DO NOT expose the machine to direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, or dust. • DO NOT connect your machine to electrical sockets controlled by wall switches or automatic timers. • Disruption of power can wipe out information in the machines memory. • Avoid interference sources, such as other cordless telephone systems or speakers. • DO NOT tip the machine, or place it on any tilted surface.
