    What	is	Anynet+?	t
    Anynet+ is a \functi\yon that enables you\y to control all connected Sa\ymsung devices that \ysupport Anynet+ wit\yh your Samsung 
    TV’s remote\b The Anynet+ \ysystem can be used \yonly with Samsung de\yvices that have th\ye Anynet+ \feature\b To be sure your 
    Samsung device has \ythis \feature, check i\f there is an Anynet+ log\yo on it\b
    To	connect	to	Home	Theat\be
    1.	Connect the HDMI	IN (1(DVI),	2(ARC),	3 or 4) jack on the TV a\ynd the HDMI OUT jac\yk o\f the corresponding Anynet+ 
    device using an HDM\yI cable\b
    2.	 Connect the HDMI I\yN jack o\f the home \ytheatre and the HDMI OUT \yjack o\f the corresponding Anynet+ de\yvice using an 
    HDMI cable\b

    xConnect the Optical cable between the DIGITAL	AUDIO	OUT	(OPTICAL) jack on your T V and the Digital Audio Input

    ■ Setup
    Anynet+	(HDMI\fCEC)	(Off	/	On): To use the Anynet+ F\yunction, Anynet+	(HDMI\fCEC) must be set to On\b
     
    ✎When the Anynet+	(HDMI\fCEC) \function is disabled, all the Anynet+ related operations are deactivated\b
    Auto	Tu\bn	Off	(No	/	Yes): Setting an Anynet\y+ Device to turn o\f\f automatically whe\yn the TV is turned o\f\f\b
     
    ✎The active source on the T V must be set to T V to use the Anynet+ \function\b
     
    ✎Even i\f an external device is still recording, it may turn o\f\f\b
    	
    ¦ Switching	between	Anynet+	Devices	
    1.	 Anynet+ devices con\ynected to the TV ar\ye listed\b
     
    ✎I\f you cannot \find a device you want, press the Red button to re\fresh the list\b
    2.	 Select a device and \ypress the ENTER
    E button\b You can switch to t\yhe selected device\b
     
    ✎Only when you set Anynet+	(HDMI\fCEC) to On in the Application menu, the Device	List menu appears\b

    You can make a recording o\f a TV Programme using a Sam\ysung recorder\b
    1.	 Select Reco\bding\b
     
    ✎When there are more than two recording devices
     
    xWhen multiple recording devices are connected, the recording devices are listed\b Select one recording device in 
    the Device	List \b
     
    ✎When the recording device is not displayed, select Device	List and press the Red button to search devices\b
    2.	 Press the EXIT button to exit\b
     
    ✎You can record the source streams by selecting Reco\bding : (device_name)\b
     
    ✎Pressing the � (REC) button will record whatever you are currently watching\b I\f you are watching video \from 
    another device, the video \from the device is recorded\b
     
    ✎Be\fore recording, check whether the antenna jack is properly connected to the recording device\b To properly 
    connect an antenna to a recording device, re\fer to the recording device’s users manual\b
    	
    ¦ Listening	th\bough	a	Receive\b	
    You can listen to s\yound through a receiver (i\be Home T\yheatre) instead o\f the TV	Speake\b\b
    1.	 Select Receive\b and set to On\b
    2.	 Press the EXIT button to exit\b
     
    ✎I\f your receiver supports audio only, it may not appear in the device list\b
     
    ✎The receiver will work when you have properly connected the optical in jack o\f the receiver to the  
    DIGITAL	AUDIO	OUT	(OPTICAL) jack o\f the T V\b
     
    ✎When the receiver (i\be Home Theatre) is set to On, you can hear sound output \from the T V’s Optical jack\b When the 
    T V is displaying a DT V (aerial) signal, the T V will send out 5\b1 channel sound to the receiver\b When the source is a 
    digital component such as a DVD and is connected to the T V via HDMI, only 2 channel sound will be heard \from 
    the receiver\b
     
    ✎NOTE
     
    xYou can only control Anynet+ devices using the T V remote control, not the buttons on the T V\b
     
    xThe T V remote control may not work under certain conditions\b I\f this occurs, reselect the Anynet+ device\b
     
    xThe Anynet+ \functions do not operate with other manu\facturers’ products\b
    Using	the	ARC	function
    You can listen to s\yound through a receiver connected H\yDMI cable without \ythe need \for a sepa\yrate optical cable\y\b
    1.	 Select Receive\b and set to On\b
    2.	 Press the EXIT button to exit\b
     
    ✎To use the ARC \function, a receiver which supports the HDMI-CEC and ARC \features must be connected to the 
    HDMI	IN	2(ARC) port\b
     
    ✎To disable the ARC \function, set the Receive\b to Off \b Even i\f the T V transmits the ARC signal continuously, the 
    receiver will be blocked \from receiving the signal\b

    •   Connect only one receiver (home theatre)\b
    •   Check i\f the Anynet+ device power cord is properly connected\b
    •   Check the Anynet+ device’s Video/Audio/HDMI cable connections\b
    •   Check whether  Anynet+	(HDMI\fCEC)  is set to On in the Anynet+ setup menu\b
    •   Check whether the TV remote control is in TV mode\b
    •   Check whether it is Anynet+ exclusive remote control\b
    •   Anynet+ doesn’t work in certain situations\b (Searching channels, operating  Media	Play  or Plug 	& 	Play  (Initial 
    setup), etc\b)
    •   When connecting or removing the HDMI cable, please make sure to search devices again or turn your TV o\f\f 
    and on again\b
    •   Check i\f the Anynet+ Function o\f Anynet+ device is set on\b
