Checking the Telephone Line 1Unplug the Telephone Line Cable from the telephone jack that was supplied by the telephone company. 2Plug a different regular telephone into the same telephone jack. 3Check for dial tone through the handset. If there is still no dial tone, report it to your local telephone company. or Call from another telephone to this number. If the telephone does not ring, report it to your local telephone company. We recommend that you test various papers until you obtain the results you are looking for. Should the fuse need to be replaced please ensure that the replacement fuse has a rating of 5 amps and that it is approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362. Check for the ASTA mark or the BSI mark on the body of the fuse. If the plug contains a removable fuse cover you must ensure that it is refitted when the fuse is replaced. If you lose the fuse cover the plug must not be used until a replacement cover is obtained. A replacement fuse cover can be purchased from your local Panasonic Dealer.
