    periodHP(orHPserviceprovidersorservicepartners)identifiesthattherepaircanbe
    accomplishedbytheuseofaCSRpart,HPwillshipthatpartdirectlytoyouforreplacement.
    TherearethreecategoriesofCSRparts:
    YesPartsforwhichcustomerselfrepairismandatory.IfyourequestHPtoreplace
    theseparts,youwillbechargedforthetravelandlaborcostsofthisservice.
    OptionalPartsforwhichcustomerselfrepairisoptional.Thesepartsarealsodesignedfor
    customerselfrepair.If,however,yourequirethatHPreplacethemforyou,there

    BootConsoleHandler
    TheBCHuserinterfaceprovidestheinterfacebetweenyouandthefirmwarethroughthemenus
    andsimplecommands.
    TheBCHisseparatecodeinprocessor-dependentcode(PDC).TheBCHcodehastwopurposes:
    •Enablesthebootstrapcodetoknowwhichpathtobootfrom.
    •EnablesyoutointeractwithPDCtoviewandmodifyasetofspecificsystemparameters.
    BootingisstandardforPARISC,butcanbetransparentdependingonthestateoftheautoflags
    (boot, search,andstart).Iftheautoflagsareclearandyouoverrideautobooting,aboot
    sequenceendsintheinteractiveportionofBCHwheremodificationandviewingofsomesystem
    parametersispossible.
    NOTE:Whentheautostartflagisoff,autobootsareinterruptedifaconfigurationchange
    occurs,whichcausesreducedperformance.Therefore,youmustintervenebeforebootingtothe
    internalsystemloader(ISL).
    TheautoboothaltsattheBCHprompt.Continuebootingbyenteringboot.
