    •Theprocessorairflowguideensuresthatthepropervolumeofairforcoolingtheprocessor
    modulepowerpods,processormodules,andvoltageregulatormodulesflowsoverthese
    components.
    Youmustremovetheprocessorairflowguide:
    •Ifitisdamagedtothepointthatairflowacrossthedualprocessormodulesisrestricted.
    •Toaccesscomponentsundertheairflowguide.
    •Thememoryairflowguideensuresthatthepropervolumeofairflowsoverthememory
    DIMMstocoolthem.
    Youmustremovethememoryairflowguide:
    •IfitisdamagedtothepointthatairflowacrossthememoryDIMMsisrestricted.
    •ToaccessmemoryDIMMsandsockets.
    NOTE:Airflowsthroughtheserverfromfronttoback.

    usageintherp3410servervarieswiththemodeldesignation.Intheoriginalserver(model
    A7136A),memoryisinstalledasoneortwopairsinthefirstquad(groupoffour).Thisenables
    memoryconfigurationsoftwo,four,eight,ortwelveDIMMs.Inthecurrentserver(model
    A7136B),memorymustbeinstalledasquads.Thisenablesmemoryconfigurationsoffour,eight,
    ortwelveDIMMs.
