1.RemovethePCIcardcagefromtheserver.(See“RemovingthePCICardCage”(page167).)
2.RemoveallPCIandgraphicscards.(See“RemovingaPCIorGraphicsCard”(page169).)
3.Unscrewthebackplanemountingscrewsandslidethebackplaneboardtowardthebulkhead
endofthePCIcardcage.Thisunlocksthebackplanefromitsstandoffs.
4.Liftthebackplaneoverthetopofthestandoffsandslideitoutofthecage(Figure6-58).

3.DisconnecttheIDEcablefromthebackofthedrive.
4.Graspthefrontofthedriveandsqueezeinonthelockingtabstoreleasethedrive.

c.Insertandtightenthetwoexternalmountingscrewsthatarelocatedonbothsidesof
the25-pinserialconnector.
4.Replacethetopcover.
5.Reconnectthepowerandexternalcables.(Donotturnontheserveratthistime.)
6.IfyouhaveinstalledanewiLOMPcard,usetheiLOMPcommandstoconfiguretheserver
foroperation.EnterthenetworksettingsrecordedduringiLOMPcardremoval(ifavailable).
