     To
    receive andprint faxes automatically, youcanturn onAuto Answer mode.
     Check
    the autoanswer icononyour products Homescreen tosee ifAuto Answer modeisturned
     on
    ornot.
     To
    turn Auto Answer modeonoroff, select Setup >Fax Settings >Receive Settings >Auto Answer .
     If
    an answering machineisconnected, makesuretheproducts RingstoAnswer settingisset higher
     than
    thenumber ofrings youranswering machineisset toanswer acall. Forexample, ifthe answering
     machine
    isset topick uponthe fourth ring,setthe product topick uponthe fifth ring orlater.
     If
    a telephone isconnected, andyouuseitto answer acall that turns outtobe afax, wait until the
     products
    LCDscreen displays amessage thataconnection hasbeen made before hanging up.
